Middle-Aged? Who?

Good morning, and happy self-love Saturday!🌸

Time moves quickly. One minute you’re a young adult, and the next, someone’s reminding you that you’re middle-aged. It’s funny how people in their 40s are actually calling themselves middle-aged, while I’m in my 50s and don’t feel anywhere close to being middle-aged. One time, I had to laugh at myself when someone grouped me in that category. I was like, “I know they ain’t talking about me!” Then, I did the math, and I am over 50, so I guess that would make me middle-aged. Ha! Gotta love life…

In eight years, I will be 60. Just saying that seems surreal.

Anyhoo…

What I’m not going to do is sit around worried about my age, aging, or some term that doesn’t apply to me. Nope! I’m going to continue doing what I’ve been doing, which is basically what I shared two years ago. I’m staying present, while I live, laugh, and love. I suggest you do the same.

Wishing you a beautiful day! Be sure to do something special for yourself. Listen, you deserve your love, too.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

      1. Yes, I remember reading that you would love to live well past your 80s and 90s. Lol. I’m good on that. If I make it to my 80s, that’s a blessing. I don’t need anymore time on this earth. 😆😂🤣

My paternal grandmother’s 90th birthday is today. I’ve got this feeling she’s got at least 5-10 years left in her.
