Cherishing This Special Moment

This memory is so timely! Today I’m hanging with my elder bestie and one of her friends. We’re headed to visit the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.

I feel so honored and blessed to tour the museum with someone who lived through and was actively involved in the Civil Rights movement. My friend, Raylawni Branch, was one of the first two African Americans to integrate the University of Southern Mississippi. She’s a beautiful living legend and very active veteran (retired Air Force Lt. Colonel) who keeps me laughing. Never a dull moment with her!

Y’all, I’m so blessed.
