Happy Sunday!☀️
Hoping all is well with you.🌹
Yesterday, I ventured back onto Facebook—just for a moment (actually, my thumb accidentally clicked the app🥴). Everyone seems to be doing great, which makes me smile. And y’all, I never knew how much I missed my Facebook memories until I checked them. I used to reshare and post so many wonderful things. As I’ve often said, my Facebook memories are my treasures; they’re my smiles. Here’s a memory—
On July 27, 2022, I wrote the following caption when I shared my “Wednesday Writings” post on Facebook.
Wednesday Writings (July 27, 2022)
“Today, I am beginning a little late. Decided everything else could wait. I needed to spend some quality time with God.
Today, I sat still and listened.
I hear You, God.” – Shaun’s Daily Inspiration Facebook post
The past few weeks without the distraction of social media were far more than sitting in my bubble away from the world. It was me spending much-needed quality time with God—listening, praying, praising, worshipping, reading my Word, and being obedient. Y’all, my soul and spirit needed the time away. I needed to build a stronger relationship with God.
This weekend I’m with my dad and stepmom. My sister and niece are arriving a little later today. I haven’t seen them in over a year. So I’m excited to spend time with them.
It’s still a bit dark outside. So, before the sun completely rises, and things get going, I’m going to take a moment and sit still and listen.
God, I’m here.
I pray your weekend has been beautiful thus far. Praying your day and week be just as beautiful and blessed.♥️
I love you,
Shaun
