In Due Season

Good Morning!☀️

“Trust God’s plan” has been the thought I have lived by since I was a teenager, when my faith was at its strongest. Then, life happened, and I began to wonder if God even had a plan for me. Over the years, I’ve had to remind/encourage myself to continue trusting His plan—that His plan was and is the best one for me.

After seeing the Facebook memory, a song our church choir used to sing came to mind. It was the following Bible verse—

Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

In due season…

You may ask, “When is due season?”

The answer: “Only God knows.”

God is the only one who holds that answer. My advice, which keeps me on track because I’ve become weary and fallen off before, is to stick with God’s plan. Stay present, focus on your tasks at hand, and let God handle the rest. Resist the urge to step out on your own. You are not being passive by waiting, nor have you been forgotten. Rest assured, everything is happening according to God’s plan. He’s got you!

This is it for now. I’m going to take a quick nap before I start my day. I pray you have a beautiful day and wonderful week. May it be filled with joy, love, peace, and blessings.♥️

I love you always,

Shaun

Stay Patient and Trust Your Journey

I saved the image below on August 10, 2017. The message is still the same today as it was back then—“Stay patient and trust your journey.” However, I’d also like to add, “trust God and His timing.” All are important and necessary when moving through this thing called life.♥️

Love you much,

Shaun

Hello Sunday

Good Morning!☀️

I hope you’re doing well.🌸

On this day eleven years ago, I was listening to William Murphy’s song, “Praise Is What I Do.”

Praise Is What I Do” by William Murphy

The song says—

I vow to praise You
Through the good and the bad
I’ll praise You
Whether happy or sad
I’ll praise You
In all that I go through
Because praise is what I do
‘Cause I owe it all to You

Yes! Praise is what I do.

Keep praising God. Never stop praising Him. Let Him know how much you love and honor Him. Not solely for the things He’s done in your life, but because He is God and He is good. Amen

I pray you have a beautiful, relaxing Sunday. May it be filled with love, joy, peace, and unexpected blessings.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Perfect Timing

Or should I say, “Legendary.“

I have yet to watch a movie or find a good series to binge. I have been watching Shedeur Sanders’ content since last night. Fell asleep scrolling through posts and reels of people’s reactions to his first NFL game (preseason game), woke up scrolling, and still scrolling!! When I tell you I feel like a proud mom/auntie!! Been following Coach Prime and his sons (all three, Bucky, included) since he was at Jackson State University (JSU).

Y,all, he’s always been intentional about how he’s trained, managed, and fathered his children, especially his sons. People can criticize and talk smack, but Deion has produced three well-rounded, God-fearing, faith-filled men. If you only look at the bling and confidence that so many have confused with arrogance, you’ve missed the entire picture. I’m so proud of Shedeur.

Looking forward to Shilo’s debut. Bucky (Deion Jr.) is already doing his thing. He is brilliant at capturing and promoting the perfect moments for his dad and brothers. He’s the true star!

Back at JSU, when Coach Prime said, “I Believe,” I believed. His faith rubbed off on me—well… some of it.😅 He still has much more faith than I do, but I’m getting there.

God is good. As they (Coach and his sons) are known for saying, God is in control and has a plan for whatever happens. Everything that happens will always be for God’s glory. Amen

Now, let me eat (haven’t eaten breakfast or lunch, but I did shower☺️) and then find a good movie to watch. Y’all take it easy.

Love you!♥️
