Why You?

February 11, 2022

You were chosen to fulfill whatever purpose God has for you to fulfill at this moment in time. You may not understand it. But you were specifically chosen.

Last year, I shared—

February 11, 2025

“Be obedient to God, especially when you don’t understand the assignment.”

Yes, especially when you don’t understand the assignment. You know, when God calls you out of your comfort zone to do XYZ, or to help someone you don’t know, or to do something you’ve never done before. Over the years, and after many questions, I’ve learned to be obedient and do whatever’s asked. I don’t have to know all the details or the outcomes. All I have to do is be obedient because I’ve been chosen to fulfill a purpose—sometimes known, but often unknown.

Be obedient and do whatever’s asked of you. You may not understand it. You may have a million questions. Just do it because YOU are the one God chose.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Do It TODAY

February 10, 2025

Not sure who needs this reminder, but here it is—

Whatever you desire to do, DO IT! Time isn’t going to slow down or stop until you’re ready, so you might as well start making moves TODAY.

If you’re like me, you have 100 things in your head, with about half of them written down, but only one or two things are in the works. And those may not be the things you truly desire to do.

TODAY, I encourage you to work towards something you really want to do—something connected to your passions and dreams. Whatever you decide to do doesn’t have to be perfect, but you do have to start. I promise, it’ll make your heart happy.

Get started!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Is My Heart In It?

February 9, 2021

I wrote my thoughts above five years ago. It’s true. Love and life flow through and from the heart. If your heart isn’t in whatever you’re doing or in the commitments you’ve made, it’s best to move on. There’s no way to pour life into something that doesn’t fully have your heart. You can try, but eventually it will fall apart. Speaking from plenty of experience.

With that said, the older I get, the more I realize that life is just too short to keep committing to things that don’t fully have my heart. It’s time to stop saying yes to every opportunity that sounds good. If my heart isn’t in it, I have to move on. The right opportunities will come. Opportunities that are aligned with my future.

Y’all, I believe I have reached another level of adulthood. Smile

This is life over 50.♥️
