Do your part by continuing to show up. Trust me. If you’ll show up, God will do the rest. It may look like nothing’s happening, but something is definitely happening. However, you’ll never know it if you don’t show up.
In my lifetime, I have experienced two types of gut feelings. Either they were warnings or nudges toward giant leaps of faith.
Thinking back on the gut feelings I had on February 26, 2021, when I wrote the message in the image above. I realize I was being prepared to take one of the bravest and boldest leaps of my lifetime. Not even three weeks later, I submitted my letter of resignation from my 9-5 to bet on myself, and I haven’t regretted it at all. Have I struggled? Umm… Yes! Of course, I have. However, the freedom I gained was worth following my gut. God is so good!
I did it!!
And…
I made it!!!
Celebrating the small successes (but this one is actually pretty BIG!)!🎉🎉🎉
If your gut is telling you it’s time to take that leap—DO IT! God’s got you!♥️
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
God has never failed me, and He will not fail you. Never. Trust Him.♥️
I love you,
Shaun

Taking a break. Been at the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum for quite a while now. It’s a lot to take in. So much history. I’ve been here a few times before, but this time is different. Touring the museum with Ms. Raylawni (see Cherishing This Special Moment) and seeing everything through her eyes is quite special. There were so many pictures and stories she couldn’t bring herself to talk about. However, there was one highlight of the tour—when she found a picture of her grandfather. Y’all, she was so excited! I wish I could’ve captured the exact moment she saw him. Absolutely beautiful! Here’s a video of her sharing the news with a couple from New York.

Feeling grateful and blessed. Only God could have placed us together. I love the way He loves me.♥️
