On March 2, 2018, I wrote the following in my journal:

“One thing about life is you have to wait to find out what’s going to happen. Life doesn’t have a fast forward button nor does it have a convenient epilogue. You have to go through it to find out what’ll happen.”

Life is interesting and definitely unpredictable. It’s full of so many twists and turns and unpredictable events. It’s been eight years since I wrote that statement. I could never have imagined the events I have lived through without living through them. Just thinking back, so much has happened since 2018!

So what does this mean for my future?

I guess I will have to keep living to find out. I’m not even going to try to predict the future. However, what I can be certain of, as I was then, is that God will be with me. I wrote— “Lord, I don’t know where this road will lead me, but I have to trust you.”

Trusting God. He holds my future.♥️
