A few years back, I wrote the following post—“Insanity” (click the link if you’re interested in reading). Basically, the post was based on the quote, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” And it’s quite true. If you want different results, you must do things differently.

However, I have found that doing what you love doing—repeatedly—without any expectations, is freeing. It allows you to dance to the beat of your own drums as often as you like. You know, it’s like dancing in the rain without a care in the world. Or lying in a field of beautiful green grass looking at a clear blue sky. So freeing!

My advice—Be you!

Do what makes you happy, even if it appears you’re going in circles, or not making any progress. It’s you being YOU!♥️

Show up, and keep showing up.

Even if you can only show up in small ways, show up. A little bit of effort is worth more than none. God will fill in until you’re capable of doing more. Just show up.♥️

It’s so easy to seek validation from others when all we truly need is ONE stamp of approval—God’s. As long as we are valued and validated by God, we’re good. Believe me, His approval far surpasses everyone else’s.

Focus on God, not people. Embrace His approval and follow His guidance. He knows what lies ahead and where He’s taking you. Trust Him.♥️

At the end of the day, it’s just you and God—no one else. He’s the only one who knows you better than you know yourself, and He loves you. He loves the authentic version of you, and you should too.
