My Journey With God, No. 111

For me, it’s not knowing what’s happening in the world. I care, but I needed to step away.

Had to check myself. I’ve been doing so well avoiding social media, but for a split second, I almost went back.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to disconnect from social media because it was disturbing my peace. As I mentioned in my previous post, I can handle fictitious drama, but real-life drama can be a bit overwhelming, and I was overwhelmed! So, I took a breather and settled into my own little bubble. A bubble where quietness was more appealing than endless posts about things and pain I could not change. I had to escape. Eventually, I’ll return—because I have work to do—but for now, I’m staying here, where it’s peaceful.♥️

Divorced Sistas!

Been on a social media break for a couple of weeks now, and I’m not ready to return, but I really want to talk about my new favorite show soooo badly!! Ugh!!!

Y’all, Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas is THE SHOW!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Whew!!! Talk about DRAMA! Y’all, it’s so messy!! Maybe I need to create a blog just for my shows.😂

If you like crazy, fictitious drama (I can’t do real drama), check out Divorced Sistas on BET Plus! It’s so good!!😂😂😂

Don’t Resist The Flow

Shared this last year on July 24, 2024. The flow is happening. It’s here.

Be careful not to resist the flow of where God is trying to take you. What I’m learning is that the flow isn’t always smooth. It’s the kind of flow that makes you want to resist it because it requires work. It requires obedience, discipline, sacrifice, and prayer. It’s the kind of flow that makes you want to give up. But you don’t. You hang in there because you know God is taking you somewhere no other can take you.

Don’t resist the flow.

You have work to do.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Victory

At the moment, I can hear Yolanda Adams singing, “Victory.” The song says—

“I’ve got, got the victory. I’ve got the sweet, sweet victory in Jesus. He is a mighty conqueror. In Him I will trust all my battles He’ll fight.”

Since July 24, 2021, I have been sharing the same message, “You Will Win!” Today, I’m sharing it again—

YOU WILL WIN!

I’m so glad we don’t have to fight our battles alone. With God, we’ve already won!♥️

Love you,

Shaun
