Believe Again

“… ‘I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!’” Mark 9:24

It’s revival time!

It’s time to truly believe again. Over time, your faith has taken hits. You still believe, but what you’ve seen and experienced lately has made you somewhat leery of fully trusting and believing.

Today, I encourage you to believe again wholeheartedly. You will never fully experience all that God can do and has for you until you do.

It’s time to believe again!♥️

I love you,

Shaun

**Just had an “Aha” moment. I believe Marvin Sapp is my Luther/JG of gospel. I can listen to him all day like I can Luther Vandross and Johnny Gill.

My Morning Smile

February 20, 2024

I have shared the same quote on this day for the past six years—same quote, different image.

“And so, she decided to start living the life she’d always imagined.”

I remember where I was emotionally, mentally, and spiritually six years ago. I went through a lot to get to where I am today. As Marvin Sapp says in his song “My Testimony,” “I’ve got some scars, but I’m still alive.” This morning I’m smiling through tears (joyful tears) because—

I’ve grown.

I’ve overcome.

I’m here!

Yes, I’m here, and I’m loving this space I’m in. It may not be everything I’ve imagined, but it’s nowhere close to where I was six years ago, not even a year ago.

I’m still hearing Marvin singing…

“So glad I made it. I made it through… So if you see me cry, it’s just a sign that I’m still alive. Oh, I’ve got some scars, but I’m still alive. In spite of calamity, He [God] still has a plan for me, and it’s working for my good, and it’s building my testimony.” Amen

Can you remember where you were mentally and spiritually six years ago?

Are you in a better place now?

I pray that you are.

I pray you can also smile as you think about how far you’ve come and because you’re still here.

Yes, you are still here!

God is so wonderful.

I pray you have a lovely day and beautiful weekend.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Silence

February 19, 2022

As I wrote several years ago—

“Silence is golden.”

It’s when things are silent, including our thoughts, that we’re able to hear God the loudest and clearest.

Want to hear from God?

Become silent.

Want clarity?

Become silent.

Want peace?

Become silent.

Yes, silence is golden.♥️

Extending Grace

February 19, 2024

Extending grace isn’t an act of weakness or vulnerability; it’s an act of strength.

Along with grace, be sure to extend love, kindness, and compassion.

Note: Grace, love, kindness, and compassion must come from your heart, not your head.

Love you!♥️

My Journey With God, No. 131

Came across a quote this morning that I had saved on February 18, 2021. It said—

“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.”

For most of my life, I’ve considered storms to be disruptive—I mean, let’s be real, THEY ARE—but when I look back at the beauty that resulted from many of those storms, they were worth going through. Not all the storms, but most.

Today, I still face storms; however, they’re not as disruptive as they used to be. Perhaps it’s because I’m older and things just don’t faze me as they used to, or my experience with past storms makes the new ones seem more like strong breezes (so I bundle up). Either way, I know that there’s beauty on the other side of the storms, so that’s what I focus on, the beauty.♥️
