My Journey With God, No. 126

Lying here thinking about how truly blessed I am. I know I mention it in almost every post. But I can’t help it. Y’all, I am blessed!

I may not have much materially or financially; however, the love, peace, and joy I have are priceless. Now, I’m not saying I don’t desire certain material things or financial wealth—I mean, who doesn’t—but it’s truly the simplest of things that make my life feel GRAND. It’s the hugs, smiles, love, laughter, conversations, and great memories that fill my heart and leave me feeling like I’m on cloud nine.

GOD, THANK YOU for blessing me!♥️

Forever grateful,

Shaun

Family

This weekend with family has been one of my best since my mom passed. I wish she could have been here to meet her first great-grandchild. Before she passed, she said she’d never dreamt beyond having grandchildren, and was grateful she had lived to see them.

Seeing my eldest nephew with his wife and child made my heart smile. I still can’t believe the little baby boy I once held now has a son of his own. God is good.

After celebrating my grandnephew—y’all, we had a whole celebration—I hung out with my baby girl. I truly cherish the time we spend together. I soak it all up! I still can’t believe she’s grown either. When I tell you time passes so swiftly! Whew!! It’s mind blowing!

I am so truly blessed.🙏🏽

I pray you had a wonderful weekend. Wishing you a peaceful night and a joyous week ahead.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Keep The Praises Going

Psalm 150:6
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

In the words of gospel singer and pastor, William Murphy—

“I vow to praise You, through the good and the bad. I’ll praise You, whether happy or sad. I’ll praise You, in all that I go through. Because praise is what I do. Cause I owe it all to You.”

God is so good.

Keep the praises going, and allow God space to flow and move freely in your heart.♥️

Love you,

Shaun
