Let The Weekend Begin!

January 23, 2022

Decided to take my own advice from this day, a few years ago, and from last year. I’m going to—

“Keep it simple, and live, laugh, love, and be kind.” (January 23, 2022)

And… “Drown out the noise.” (January 23, 2025)

January 23, 2025

I’m unplugging, disconnecting, and enjoying the calmness of my life.

Y’all have a fabulous weekend! Stay warm and please stay safe.

I love you!♥️

Encouragement Needed?

January 23, 2023

On January 23, 2023, I wrote—

“I can hear William Becton and choir singing–

‘Be encouraged, no matter what’s going on. He’ll make it alright, but you gotta stay strong.’

God’s got you!”

Dear Reader & Writer:

Hold on.

Stay strong.

God’s got you.

God’s got us!♥️

I love you,

Shaun

**Yesterday, the United States officially withdrew from the World Health Organization.😔 And ICE!! My heart feels like it’s shattering a little at a time every day, yet I remain hopeful. One day, we will sing in harmony. Yes, I must remain hopeful.🙏🏽

Present, Focused, and Grateful

Remain Present: So many blessings are unfolding right before your very eyes, but you must remain present to see them.

Stay Focused: Focus on the people and things that truly matter in your life. Everything else is noise.

Always Be Grateful: Practice gratitude daily. Gratitude brings hope and peace. It can turn a mediocre moment into a spectacular experience.

Remain present, stay focused, and always be grateful. It’s the best way to live!♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Thankful

January 22, 2025

Yes, thankful…

and blessed.

Thankful and blessed to still be here.

Thankful and blessed to be healthy, in my right mind, at peace, and loved.

Yes, I’m thankful and blessed.

How about you? Are you thankful, and do you feel blessed?

It’s my hope that you do.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Change: At The Blink Of An Eye

January 22, 2025

Last year, I shared the message above—

“Life can change at the blink of an eye.”

And it’s true, life can change without notice.

This past weekend, my cousin lost her only child, her son, in a plane accident. As she wrote in her Facebook post, he died doing what he loved, learning to fly. Jordan was 17 years old. He was kind and so full of life and dreams. Please keep his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. They are needed.

Y’all, in a matter of moments, my cousin’s life changed forever.💔

Cherish life and hold those you love close. Be careful not to hold on to trivial things. Let them go. Love and LIVE! Life is precious and so very short. Please make the most of it and make sure it stands for something.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Focus On The Good Times

January 21, 2023

PSA (Public Service Announcement)…

If you truly care for someone, and you want them to remain in your life, focus on the good times. Let the past hurts and disappointments go. Life is literally too short and too precious to hold on to things that no longer matter or bring us peace and joy. If you can’t shake the bad memories, let the person go.♥️

Love you,

Shaun
