Change: At The Blink Of An Eye

January 22, 2025

Last year, I shared the message above—

“Life can change at the blink of an eye.”

And it’s true, life can change without notice.

This past weekend, my cousin lost her only child, her son, in a plane accident. As she wrote in her Facebook post, he died doing what he loved, learning to fly. Jordan was 17 years old. He was kind and so full of life and dreams. Please keep his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. They are needed.

Y’all, in a matter of moments, my cousin’s life changed forever.💔

Cherish life and hold those you love close. Be careful not to hold on to trivial things. Let them go. Love and LIVE! Life is precious and so very short. Please make the most of it and make sure it stands for something.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Focus On The Good Times

January 21, 2023

PSA (Public Service Announcement)…

If you truly care for someone, and you want them to remain in your life, focus on the good times. Let the past hurts and disappointments go. Life is literally too short and too precious to hold on to things that no longer matter or bring us peace and joy. If you can’t shake the bad memories, let the person go.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

The Assignment

The assignment is to use our God-given gifts to serve others, and every act of service allows us to be good stewards of those gifts.

Question: Are you using your gifts to serve others?

I pray that you are. I hope you are being a good steward of your gifts.♥️

I love you,

Shaun

Focus On What Matters Most

Distractions do what they are designed to do—distract. Focus on things that bring you peace and joy. Things that are aligned with your purpose and values. Those are the things that matter most.

Stay focused.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Life Is Unpredictable

January 20, 2022

Four years ago, I wrote the following when I shared the message in the image above—

“Sometimes things that initially appear unfavorable aren’t always so. Remember to trust God, His process, and His plan.”

Life rarely follows a straight path. If you have lived long enough, you know that life has many detours. Detours that often appear unfavorable. However, it’s not until you look back that you realize those detours actually held unexpected blessings.

Listen, the detour may have thrown you off course, but you’re still on the right track. Keep your eyes, mind, and heart open for unexpected blessings along this new path. Trust God and trust His process. He knows where He’s taking you. He’s got you!♥️

I love you,

Shaun
