I believe the message I shared on October 20, 2022 (see Facebook memory below), was written specifically for me for this particular moment in time. All I can do is smile. God knows me oh so well. I can feel my life changing, and it’s changing pretty quickly. However, unlike times before—due to my impatience—I’m pacing myself to make sure I’m moving with God and not ahead of Him. Believe me, I’ve learned my lesson many times over—God moves FIRST! He has to lead.
But I’m still excited!
It’s true, God is working even when we can’t see or feel anything happening. Today, I wouldn’t necessarily say wait unless you’re about to make moves without God. Instead I would say, “Slow down, breathe, and move with God.” At least that’s the advice I’m taking today because I’m not going to stop moving—not this time. Smile
This is all for now. I pray your Monday and the rest of your week is peaceful and flows smoothly. May each day be filled with love, joy, and laughter.♥️
Here’s a snapshot of a post I saved on October 19, 2017.

Sadly, Evangelist Joyce L. Rodgers passed away in 2021. Her presence in this world is greatly missed.🕊️
Side note: Y’all see the “Joy” in her name! I can’t make this stuff up! Today is about joy—all about joy. No tears, today. This is the first October since my brother passed on October 19, 2019, that I haven’t cried. Maybe I released it all last year.🙏🏽
On a more joyous note, I’m taking heed of Evangelist Rodgers’ message—
I am about to walk through a new door AND I won’t panic (notice the hashtag #DontPanic😉).
Y’all, God is so good! He keeps me smiling.☺️
Listen, you’d better claim the message for yourself, too! I don’t want to be the only one walking through a new door.♥️
Yes, your purpose is far too great to stop and settle where you are. As long as you have breath in your body, your purpose is still in effect—it’s lifelong.
So, keep moving! You’ve got a purpose to fulfill!♥️
Not sure why, but that’s the word that I keep hearing. I wanted to add a scripture or quote for context, but I wasn’t feeling anything I found. All I kept hearing was “Joy.” So, “Joy” it is!
However… now I’m hearing the song “Joy” by Blackstreet. Smile
I love how I already had an image created.☺️ (January 30, 2023)
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday. May it be filled with lots of love, laughter, peace, and JOY!♥️
When I saw the Facebook memory below, the first thing that caught my eye was the hashtag, #RememberingColinPowell. Colin Powell passed away on this date four years ago.
When I joined the Air Force, General Colin Powell was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest-ranking officer in the United States military (over all branches of service). He was someone I admired and wanted to meet. He was number nine on my list of ten people to meet in this lifetime. Next to his name, I wrote—“That much power is amazing!!” All I wanted to do was shake his hand. I wanted him to know how much he inspired me as an airman, and that it was an honor to have served under his leadership. Y’all, seeing his picture everywhere while I was in basic training gave me that extra nudge I needed to make it through. If he could achieve the highest level of service, I could definitely make it through basic training.
