Tapping In

Good Morning ☀️

October 11, 2023

Y’all, I’m supposed to be getting ready to leave for my trip to Nashville for our national conference. Instead, I’m still in bed trying to find a bit of inspiration for my first post of the day, which happens to be this post I’m writing. Nothing in my Facebook memories or saved photos stirred my interest, so I turned to my handy-dandy journals. What I found is actually relevant for today. Here’s a snippet of what I wrote:

Shaun’s Journal Entry: October 11, 2020

Today I came to the conclusion that it’s time to tap into my potential and become who I’m destined to be. It’s time to accept accolades. It’s time for me to toot my own horn. It’s time that I allow God to shine through me. Amen. This time around, when God open doors I’m walking through. God gives us the desires of our heart but sometimes it doesn’t happen as imagined. He also gives us multiple opportunities to achieve the same thing. However, it’s up to us to grasp them. Amen

Talk about timely! Who knew I would be given this opportunity again? Not only am I going to the conference representing myself, but I’m also representing my state and my colleagues. And all I want to do right now is roll over and go back to sleep. Also, my daughter is here again. Her fiancé’s sister had a baby this week, so they came back to visit. So I really don’t want to leave. Long sigh

Anyhoo… Let me get up and get moving. It’s time to tap in!

I pray you have the most wonderful day yet! May it be filled with lots of love, joy, peace, and laughter.♥️

I love you much,

Shaun

I’m Blessed

I could easily dwell on things I believe I’m lacking, but instead, I choose to focus on the blessings I already have—the ones that can easily be taken for granted—a loving and supportive family, good health, sight, mobility, transportation, shelter, food… the list goes on. God has been truly good to me.

Y’all, I’m blessed!♥️

God, Please Guide My Steps

God, please guide my steps. May they be used to magnify Your glory and fulfill Your purpose. Amen

I never want to make a move without God. For I know my purpose is far greater than me.♥️
