My Journey With God, No. 115

I’m up again at 2:00 AM. I fell asleep early and slept very well, so I really shouldn’t complain. Smile

When I fell asleep, the world was in turmoil, and even though I haven’t scrolled through any of my social media feeds or turned on the news, I’m pretty sure nothing has changed. After I prayed and read the first chapter of Proverbs (the book of the Bible I’m currently reading—a MUST READ), I thought about how I’ve said I wanted to live 50+ more years. Now, I’m sitting here wondering if that’s even possible. Will the world even be here? I’m pretty sure many of our ancestors and elders who lived through wars and conflicts wondered the same. Will humanity survive? And guess what? We’re still here. Like those who survived, that was their era to live through. For some reason, they were chosen for that moment in time. Same with us. This is our moment in time. I’m praying that those of us who survive will share stories of survival and pass along wisdom in hopes of history not repeating itself.

At the moment, I just want to stay present. I don’t want to think about anything outside of what’s happening at this very moment in my little space. Things are calm and peaceful here. Praying for those seeking peace and those who are hurting. May they find comfort in the present moment.

I’m dozing off so I’ll end here. Remember to be humble and kind. Too many are suffering.♥️

I love you,

Shaun
