To God be the glory To God be the glory To God be the glory For the things He has done
Wishing you a good night. I pray this upcoming week brings you love, peace, joy, and unexpected blessings. May God’s love, mercy, and grace surround and cover you and your family.♥️
On this day 11 years ago, I was listening to Walter Hawkins’ song “Be Grateful.”
In my opinion, it’s one of the best Sunday church service songs ever! Sunday during the 11:00 AM service, to be exact. The organ, piano, drums, tambourines, and a little bass guitar! Baby!! That was a service! Listen, if you know, you know.😁
“This is a wonderful day. I’ve never seen it before.” – Maya Angelou
Here are a few pictures from my little outing around town. First, I stopped by a local flea market where they have a Golden Girls (80’s sitcom) exhibit. I’ve been trying to visit it for a few months now, but I’ve never gotten around to seeing it because the line has always been long. Well, today I waited.☺️
Afterwards, I stopped at one of our local bakeries for a treat.
Mini lemon meringue bar.
Of course, I had to take a selfie after I finished. I mean, it is Self-Love Saturday.🥰
Woke up with the song “Grateful” (by Hezekiah Walker) playing over and over in my head, particularly this part—
Grateful, grateful, grateful, grateful Grateful, grateful, grateful, grateful Grateful, grateful, grateful, gratefulness is flowing from my heart
God, thank You for Your love, kindness, mercies, and grace. I’m truly grateful.🙏🏽
I pray you have a beautiful day! May it be filled with love, peace, and joy. Also, it’s Self-Love Saturday. Remember to take a moment out of today and do something special for yourself.♥️
I don’t know about you, but the following Facebook memory sums up my life experiences. I’ve been through a lot, and I have the scars to prove it—some visible and some not. However, by God’s mercy and grace, I’m still here and still standing. Amen

I AM a conqueror.
Right now I can hear Marvin Sapp singing “My Testimony.” The song says—
So if you see me cry it’s just a sign that I’m still alive. I got some scars, but I’m still alive. In spite of calamity He still has a plan for me. And it’s working for my good and it’s building my testimony…
The song goes on to say that in spite of the storms, rain, heartaches and pain, I’m still alive to declare that I made through.
And, I did.
Y’all, I made it!
That’s all I have for now. I pray you have a wonderful day and a beautiful weekend. May both be filled with an abundance of love, peace, joy, and laughter. God is good.♥️
