I’m starting my self–love weekend today. YAY, Me!! Yes, this is a “Me” weekend. I’m only focusing on Me, Myself, and I. Y’all, I am so serious about finding balance. I love what I’m doing, but it’s draining. I will say, I’ve become better with sticking to my schedule (blogging, not so much), setting boundaries, and politely saying “no.” I now realize I have a capacity, and I have a hard time functioning after it’s reached. Physically, I’ll keep going, but cognitively, it’s over. So, this weekend is not only about physical rest but also mental rest. Don’t ask me to think!😂

Anyhow…

Here’s a memory that made me smile and tear up. I miss Bruce Van Horn’s kindness, encouragement, and words of wisdom. His calm demeanor had a way of making you feel at ease and at peace. His presence is missed.🤍

Stay focused on your “Why,” and God will handle how it happens. Be warned, the “How” does not always come easily but is worth enduring. Just remember, God’s got you and He’ll never leave you.
