Test The Waters

Test the waters to see if it’s safe to return to the things you have been protecting yourself from. You say you’re ready to get back out there, ready to give it another try, but are you? What are you afraid of? Disappointment? Rejection? Making another mistake? You will never know how things will work out if you don’t at least get your feet wet. No matter what happens, remember God’s got you and He will never leave you. So go get your feet wet.♥️

Wednesday Writings

Happy Wednesday! Wasn’t sure of what to write about today so I checked my oh so trusted Facebook memories. They always provide good content. Well, the very first thing that popped up was a quote by Lisa Nichols, “I am my rescue.”

I am my rescue.

For some reason, that quote hit me like a ton of bricks. When I originally shared the quote, I was fired up and motivated to rise beyond any and every obstacle. This morning I had a completely different reaction. This morning the quote made me feel alone. Really alone. It’s like I finally realized the weight and fate of my life are solely on my shoulders. Only mine. It made me feel like this is my life. As if this is how it was meant to be and always will be. I am in this thing alone. Yep…

Enough sulking! Time to get up and put on my well-worn cape and get back to doing what I do, rescuing myself. I got this!

As always, thanks for reading my ramblings. I love y’all! Have a wonderful day.♥️

Just Thinking– A Facebook Memory from February 6, 2019

Seems as if this platform is becoming a catch-all for my Facebook memories. Smiling

Here’s what I shared four years ago:

Just thinking…
What would my life be like right now if I would’ve stayed in Kansas after high school? What would life be like if I had never joined the Air Force? What would life be like if I would’ve had an abortion or given my baby girl up for adoption? What would life be like if I would’ve turned down my orders to Turkey? What would life be like if I…

I have made so many major decisions over my lifetime that I consider pivotal points. When I look back, all I can say is, “Thank You, Lord! I believe I made some pretty awesome decisions.” Believe me, there are decisions I wish I wouldn’t have made, but somehow God turned those bad decisions around for my good. Those decisions didn’t break me. For that, I’m forever grateful! It was nobody but God!

God is so amazing, y’all. There is NONE like Him. I honestly couldn’t have made it this far without Him. Amen

Y’all, I am so blessed.

Life

Hello Sunday

I know y’all think I’m over the top with my praises but God is soooo good.

Journal Entry– February 5, 2015

This quote was taken from a message I had sent my sisters on that day describing God’s goodness. As you can see, nothing has changed. I’m forever praising God. Y’all, He’s just so good, so wonderful, so loving. I am so blessed to know and trust Him, and even more blessed to know that He loves me.

That’s all I have for you this Sunday. I could murky it up with other stuff, but I won’t. Just know that God is amazing and I can’t help but praise Him like He is. Forever Grateful

Have a blessed day and wonderful week!♥️
