President Jimmy Carter’s funeral was earlier today. I watched most of it live and snippets of what I missed. It was so beautiful. They honored him well.
A few days ago, I left a message in his virtual condolence book. I wrote about how he’d been my inspiration since elementary school and how I plan to continue his legacy of making this world a kinder and better place for everyone. Maybe one day I’ll share what I wrote.
Below is a video of his grandson Jason’s eulogy. It basically summed up how I saw and felt about President Carter. He was the epitome of love, hope, and overall goodness. He will so be missed.🙏🏽♥️🕊️

I watched it too. I loved Jason’s eulogy. And I loved when Walter Mondale’s son read his eulogy that included how Walter Mondale and Jimmy Carter summed up their time in the White House, “We told the truth, we obeyed the laws, we kept the peace.”
An incredible man and I think the funeral reflected that!
