Funny how I can write when I’m writing for fun but get writer’s block when I’m writing for class. Ugh! Just submitted an assignment that took much longer than expected. Was stuck on one paragraph for hours. This school thing is more mental than anything else. Trying not to think of how much longer I have left in the program. Taking things one day at a time.
I noticed that it was already after midnight so I went scrolling through my Facebook memories. Came across one of my blogs from my other (basically neglected) page – theresearchdivard.wordpress.com. I really need to start blogging over there at least a few times per year. Here’s the caption that I posted along with the blog.—
Pursuing My Dreams October 30, 2021
Earlier this year, I decided to venture out and pursue some of my lifelong dreams. One thing the pandemic has taught me is that I cannot keep delaying my dreams hoping to pursue them in the future. The future is now. Check out my blog and see where I am headed!
I had written that particular blog for my digital marketing class. Had decided I wanted to go into marketing. Honestly, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I was free from working a 9-5 job and everything that sparked my interest I wanted to pursue. Fast forward to today, I am back where I started, nutrition and public health.
It was cool to venture out and try something different. I still love aspects of marketing but I don’t think I will ever make a career of it.
Okay… I’m finally sleepy. I’ll write more later.
