If you want something, or want something done, you have to communicate it. People are not mind readers. Stop avoiding the hard conversations. The more you avoid them, the deeper the problem becomes.
Just sharing what I have always known, but failed to do, until recently. What’s the saying, “Closed mouths don’t get fed.” It’s not always financially. It’s in every area where proper communication is lacking. Speak up or nothing will change.♥️

I just told a young man yesterday (my coworker’s boyfriend), “Closed mouths don’t get fed,” because she came to pick up a plate of food from me and he wanted a plate but was afraid to ask and she told him she was NOT asking me for him. 🤣😂😆
I fixed him a plate and walked outside with her and said to him, “Lemme tell you something, young man, you want something, you better ask. Closed mouths don’t get fed. Now, here’s your plate. And anytime you want a plate of food, you, you just say so and I’ll be sure to give a plate to Maya for you.” 🤣😂😆
