May your today be as bright as the sun, and may every day that follows be just as bright, if not brighter.♥️
Love you always,
Shaun
**Now I can’t stop hearing Kirk Franklin’s song, “Brighter Day.” I just love how the mind works. There always seems to be a song for every thought. Gotta love music.☺️
My treasures are priceless. As I mentioned a few years ago, my treasures are things that can’t be bought or replaced. They’re the things that make me smile—old notes and letters, my journals (over 35 years of entries), texts, voicemails, random pictures (physical and saved to my phone), Facebook memories (I hope they never get rid of them), my two hearts (my adult babies🥰🥰) and our conversations, time spent with family and friends, and the list goes on. I am truly, truly blessed.
What are some things you treasure, whether purchased or not? What makes your heart smile whenever you see or think about it/them?
I pray you have a wonderful self-love Saturday. Today, I’m not going anywhere—while writing this, my thoughts are saying something differently.🤭 The plan is to spend the day watching random movies or binge-watching a new series. We shall see how everything goes.☺️
Anyhoo… Have a wonderful day! Remember to do something special for yourself. You deserve it!♥️
Smile. You are growing. I know you don’t always feel it. I know you often feel like your wheels are spinning and you’re going nowhere. However, you’re making progress. Just look back at how far you’ve come. Not in the natural sense, but spiritually. Baby, you’ve grown. Continue being obedient and moving with God. The rest will catch up.♥️
Once you experience something, you can never unexperience it. Your life is forever changed.
Forever changed…
I’m starting my self–love weekend today. YAY, Me!! Yes, this is a “Me” weekend. I’m only focusing on Me, Myself, and I. Y’all, I am so serious about finding balance. I love what I’m doing, but it’s draining. I will say, I’ve become better with sticking to my schedule (blogging, not so much), setting boundaries, and politely saying “no.” I now realize I have a capacity, and I have a hard time functioning after it’s reached. Physically, I’ll keep going, but cognitively, it’s over. So, this weekend is not only about physical rest but also mental rest. Don’t ask me to think!😂
Anyhow…
I pray you have one of the most beautiful weekends yet. May it be filled with an abundance of love, joy, peace, rest, and favor.♥️
