Lying here thinking about how truly blessed I am. I know I mention it in almost every post. But I can’t help it. Y’all, I am blessed!

I may not have much materially or financially; however, the love, peace, and joy I have are priceless. Now, I’m not saying I don’t desire certain material things or financial wealth—I mean, who doesn’t—but it’s truly the simplest of things that make my life feel GRAND. It’s the hugs, smiles, love, laughter, conversations, and great memories that fill my heart and leave me feeling like I’m on cloud nine.

A Story I Don’t Remember Sharing

Sooo… I rarely check the memories on my professional Facebook page because I seldom share anything there. Well, moments ago, without me checking, the memory below popped up. Like, popped up out of the blue. I guess I needed to see it.

However… what’s even crazier is that I have absolutely no idea why I decided to share this particular part of my life’s story with this group of Facebook friends. Normally, this would have been something I would have only shared with closer friends or something I would have shared here because I feel more free to share in this space.

Anyhoo… below is the screenshot of what I wrote. Basically, it explains why I live my life the way that I do. Why I am the way that I am. I wasn’t always like this. Honestly, I weep for the person I used to be. However, I celebrate who I’ve become. Yesss! Loving me!! They say self love is the best love second to God’s.🥰

Y’all, I’m so grateful I decided to change. I can’t even imagine what my life would be like had I remained the same. God is so good. I’m truly blessed.
