My Journey With God, No. 52

“Made A Way” by Travis Greene is the song of the hour. The song says—

You made a way
When our backs were against the wall
And it looked as if it was over
You made a way
And we’re standing here
Only because you made a way
You made a way

I shared the statement above a few months after I became a full-time entrepreneur. God had my back then, and He still has it today—I needed the reminder I received earlier while in shopping (see “Often, Easier Said Than Done”).

This morning, I felt myself falling into the trap of just because I couldn’t see anything happening, nothing was happening. Y’all, I had done all I could in my power and had moved on. The last thing I expected was to receive that particular call and on a holiday. I guess that was God’s way of letting me know He still has my back. All I need to do is rest in Him, be still, and move when He instructs me to do so.
