Unexpected Blessings

Today I received an unexpected blessing, an award for Nutritionist of the Year. Let me tell you how unexpected it was. I had left the conference to go check out of my hotel room. All I was thinking about was checking out on time. Didn’t expect a thing. Then all of a sudden I started receiving texts asking me where I was because I had just won an award. Wow!

Just think, one year ago I took a leap of faith and ventured out on my own. And at times I feel so disconnected. Although I continue to promote health throughout our state, it’s on a different scale since I’m no longer affiliated with an institution. So yes, it was unexpected. Honestly, it was just the blessing I needed.
