Your time and peace are valuable. Protect both by making sure others respect them. Not only is this an act of self-care, but self-preservation.

Peace is everything. My life has never been very chaotic because, for most part, I played along to get along. Never one to really rock the boat. I was the one who would “take one for the team.” Yeah, I would let everything fall on me. I always felt like I was strong enough to take whatever I was faced with and more. Yes, I thought I was superwoman and everyone’s mama. Guess that’s the nurturer in me. Then, one day I stopped. I stopped taking on everyone else’s issues. When I did, I discovered this thing called peace. Instead of keeping the peace, I was experiencing peace. Believe me, there’s a difference.
A few years ago, I found myself in a situation where I was trying to play the peacekeeper. Well, the only thing that happened was I became miserable and the mess got even worse. So, what did I do? I removed myself from the entire situation. Severed all ties. Y’all, when I tell you I felt like a new person! Now, anyone or anything that enters my life has to respect my peace.
Here’s my two cents. If it disturbs your peace, let it go! I don’t care whether it’s a job (been there, ain’t doing it again), a relationship (done that too, never again), or your own thoughts (rebuke them!!!)—let them go! They are not worth holding on to. Your peace matters. Your health matters! Don’t you know stress kills…literally! Let it/them go and live in peace. Love you!♥️

You cannot have the promise without going through the process. You have to go through the process.
Bishop T.D. Jakes – Quote shared on April 10, 2022
I have nothing more to add. The process is a must! The question is, can you endure the process?
Something to seriously think about…♥️ ~Shaun

Patience: the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.
Hmmm… I’m pretty patient. How about you?
Over the years, I have learned that it’s better to wait on God than to step out on my own. Believe me, it only took me a few times of “doing me” to realize God’s way and timing are always best.
Here’s what I shared five years ago.

Happy Hump Day! Here’s today’s social media find. Patience. Be patient. Your day is coming. Your breakthrough is right around the corner. Sound familiar? Sometimes I feel like I’ve been patient long enough. Like I’ve had that good attitude forever, and the results are no where in sight. Real talk.💯 Honestly, it’s hard to stay positive all of the time. However, today I commit to remaining positive no matter what things look like. I know God is working. Yes, God is working.☺️

When I tell you God always sends the right message at the right time. Several blogs ago, I wrote about my first time experiencing anger, which was after my ex refused to sign the divorce papers. Well, it was during that time—probably at the height of my anger (after four years of patiently waiting)—that I happened to see Women Of History’s tweet (in the image above).
After sharing their tweet, I did exactly what was suggested, I carried on with a positive attitude. I put the pain of the wait behind me and started living. Then, one day when I least expected it, I received a call from my lawyer telling me the papers had been signed. Hallelujah!
Y’all, it’s true, it’s always darkest before dawn. If you have been waiting years for something to happen, do not give up. Completely surrender it to God and live. Believe me, once you release it to God, the wait won’t even bother you.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday. Bad weather is forecasted for the entire day, here. Praying the damage is minimal and there are no fatalities.
Be Blessed ♥️

Just dropping in to remind you of how good God is. That’s all.
Y’all, there’s no other like Him.
Keep Him close, and keep Him first.♥️

So, I am actually writing this a little over 30 minutes after my last post published; however, I am scheduling it for 10:30 AM to remain somewhat consistent.
Y’all, the strangest thing just happened! Went to share the same graphic from my earlier post on Instagram and YouTube, and all I kept hearing was Whitney Houston singing, “Where Do Broken Hearts Go?” Every time I even tried to think of another song, her voice got louder. I ended up attaching it to my IG story and YouTube video. Then, the title, “Go Home,” came to me as soon as I started writing this blog. Listen, I don’t know who this message is for, but wherever “home” is, I think that’s where you need to go. Please, go home to the people who love you. To the place where your passion(s) originated. Yes, your heart might have been broken. Things may not have worked out the way you expected them too, but it’s where you really want to be. Do not allow your ego to stop you from living the life you have always dreamed, or from loving fully and being loved unconditionally. Now, go!♥️ ~Shaun
