Another Worship Session

Y’all, I don’t know what God is doing, or what’s happening, but something is taking place. My spirit and soul feels it. Unlike other times when this has happened, I don’t feel anxious or nervous, as if something bad is happening. I actually feel at peace.

Today’s worship song is John P. Kee’s, “I Do Worship.” If you read my earlier posts, you’ll know yesterday’s mid-afternoon worship session ended with this song. Now today’s session has picked up where it left off.

The song says—

I do worship, I do worship
I do worship You
I do worship, I do worship
I do worship You

For Your goodness and Your glory
For the joy inside Your story
I do worship You

Oh, how excellent is Your presence
We will bless Your name
For Your goodness and Your glory
For the joy inside Your story

For the peace You gave to me
For the day You set me, set me free

For Your goodness and Your glory
For the joy inside Your story

I do worship, I do worship
I do worship, I do worship
I do worship, I do worship
I do worship, I do worship
You

Tap Into God’s Strength

In my previous post, I mentioned my journal entry from October 22, 2023. The first two sentences in that entry were—

“‘Not from my own strength but God’s’ is what I just heard. I need to start tapping into His strength.”

Tap into His strength. Let Him do the heavy lifting. He’s got you!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Always Keep God First

Good Morning!☀️

That’s what I wrote in my journal on October 22, 2023. “Always keep God first.” Believe me, He will not lead you wrong.

Soooo…

Did anyone do anything different yesterday?

Well, I did! It wasn’t drastically different, but it was different.

Yesterday, I wrote about how I felt my spirit worshipping God while hearing Tamela Mann’s song, “Change Me,” repeatedly playing in my head. When I finally listened to it, I had it on repeat for well over an hour. Every time I went to stop playing it, I kept hearing, “One more time.” So I played it until another song popped into my head, which was John P. Kee’s “I Do Worship.” Y’all, my spirit was definitely in worship mode.

So, here’s where ‘different’ came in. After listening to my songs, I really felt the need to share what I was experiencing with the world. I had already written it here (see Mid-Afternoon Worship) but needed to get it out verbally without any interruptions. So, I made a short video and shared it on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. I also shared how I could feel a shift taking place. I’ve been feeling it for a while; however, now the feeling is becoming stronger. And it’s not a bad shift, but a good one.

When I tell you it must have been for me to share! Y’all, I had zero anxiety. None! That has never happened, before. Never! I know it may seem small to you, but it was huge for me.

So, that was my different.

Y’all, God is good. So good. There’s no way I could not keep Him first. As I said, I know it may not seem like a big deal, it was just a video. But it was big for me. What took me a few minutes to do yesterday, would have taken me hours to do before, and it was only a couple of minutes long.

Thank you for allowing me to share. I pray you have a beautifully blessed day.♥️

Love you always,

Shaun

Mid-Afternoon Worship

I guess my spirit feels like worshipping right now, so I’m going to let it do so. The song that’s been playing over and over in my mind for the past 30 minutes or so (that’s how I know there’s worshipping happening) is “Change Me” by Tamela Mann.

The song says—

Change me, oh God
Make me more like you
Change me, oh God
Wash me through and through
Create in me a clean heart
So that I may worship you

Y’all, God is working, from my spirit outwards. I feel it and I’m not ashamed to share it.

Forever grateful.

Forever blessed.

God is so good!

Amen

I’m sharing the video below in case you feel like worshiping too.☺️♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Be Obedient

Be obedient. You never know who needs what you have access to.

Yesterday, I texted a friend during Sunday morning service to let her know the message Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts was preaching was about her. I’ve never really spoken to her about anything spiritual before other than saying, “I’m praying for you”, “God’s got you!”; you know, that sort of thing, but nothing more. Well, yesterday I heard as clear as day, you need to send her this message. Even after texting her that morning, I was still second guessing if I should send the link that evening. I had imagined she’d forgotten that I said I would. However, I didn’t wait. I was obedient and sent her the link when it was first available.

A few minutes ago, I opened Facebook and this was the first post on my timeline…

Shift The Weight” by Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts. Listen, this message blessed me too! When I tell you sometimes the weight can be soooo heavy. However, with God, I have to capacity to handle it. Take a listen!

When God tells you to do something, just do it. Again, you don’t know who needs what you have access to.♥️

Love you,

Shaun
