I believe the only way any of us manage to press on after devastation and adversity without losing every single ounce of hope is by finding something good to hold on to. We focus on the good.
As we remember those who lost their lives on this day 25 years ago and those who continue to lose their lives daily due to hate and fear, let’s remember that there’s still good in the world. Sometimes it’s hard to see, but goodness is still here. The day that we stop believing in the goodness of humankind is the day hope dies.
We must keep hope alive.
