Hmmm… Good Question!

Are you seeking security or adventure?

I had to think about this one for a second before answering. When I was younger, in my 20s and 30s, I would have immediately said yes to seeking an adventure. However, now that I am older (in my 50s), and the world is quite different, security is a priority.

With that being said, it also depends on the weather, my mood, and my energy level. Right now, it’s gloomy and rainy out, and I feel drained, so security is all I want at this moment. But yesterday, when it was sunny and I felt well-rested, an adventure would have been lovely.☺️

My Journey With God, No. 108

I have several notes pinned in my phone that I used to read often. However, for some reason or another, I slowly stopped reading them. Well, this morning, I decided to revisit them, and the first one that caught my eye was titled “Favor.” If you’ve been following my posts since my birthday, you know that my theme for Year52 is “52 weeks of Favor, Overflow, and Grace.” I can’t believe I forgot that I had written and pinned an entire note about favor. One line that stood out was this:

“Favor is God’s grace.”

Wow!

Since my birthday, I have been viewing each word individually. To me, it was “favor,” “overflow,” and/or “grace.” In my mind, they were never interconnected.

I am so grateful for God’s revelations. I can’t say it enough, I just love the way He loves me. I am truly blessed.

God’s grace is favor.♥️

This is a picture of one of my “purse notes,” written on October 9, 2014. I keep notes in my wallet for encouragement. I used to read them often, but I haven’t lately. I guess this is a sign for me to go read them.☺️
