My Prayer

Good Morning!

Remaining obedient while allowing God to lead.🙏🏽

That was my prayer nine years ago. Today, it’s pretty much the same—for God to use me as He sees fit. Now, I’m not going to lie, it’s not always easy to do. I do struggle. However, I do know His promises and my purpose are great, and there’s so much more for me to do and achieve during this lifetime. I will not allow fear, doubt, or the complexities of life stop me from having or achieving everything God has for me. As I said then, I know I can do ALL things when He’s involved.

Born to Lead?

Do you see yourself as a leader?

Many, many moons ago—going back to childhood—I was always the leader. Always the first to take charge. Always the first to hand out orders (yeah…I really thought I was running things😄). The most outspoken, most reliable, most helpful, and one who could bring others together. However, with that being said, I was also the first to be reprimanded or disciplined when things didn’t go right. Oh… and not to mention, I was also the eldest child and grandchild of a very large family (my mom had six children and my grandmother had eleven). So, the title and expectation were given to me without regard for whether I wanted it or not. I was the leader by default.

Fast forward to today… Today, I try my best to shy away from leadership roles (official and unofficial), but I keep taking them on. Honestly, it’s hard for me not to. The role is like second nature. However, the question posed is whether or not I see myself as a leader. Short answer—sometimes, but most often others see it before I do.

Tonight, I am praying for those in need of food, clothing, shelter, and safety.

Praying for those struggling with addiction(s), anxiety, fear, and depression.

Praying for those who have experienced loss, setbacks, disappointments and other challenges.

Praying for those in need of love, peace, joy, and happiness.

Lord, please meet and/or exceed everyone’s needs.

Lastly, I’m praying for YOU. May God bless you and keep you in His care. May He grant you love, peace, and grace.♥️

More Than A Conqueror

People are only privy to what you’re willing to share. They don’t know the half of what you’ve gone through to become who you are today. They don’t know the mental, emotional, and spiritual hells you’ve endured. Nah… only you and God know. You’ve conquered every battle and have the scars to prove it. What was meant to destroy you couldn’t take you out because you are covered by God. That’s right. You’re covered! And you are still here, and against all odds, you’re still standing. Friend, you are more than a conqueror!♥️
