Good Morning☀️ And Hello Sunday!
Y’all, I woke up with my spirit praising God! My heart is so full right now!! Here’s what I shared on this date five years ago:
“The wait is over. Walk in your season.”
Whew!! Talk about timing! I always say this is the era we were meant to be born in. Not centuries ago (even though we may have been there too😉), not years from now, but NOW! God created us for NOW. We have work to do to ensure future generations thrive!
Yes, it’s on us!
Today’s message is—
It’s your time! Embrace all that God is sending your way. Don’t run from it. Instead, lean into it and give it your all.
Short story and a peek into my world right now:
If you’ve been following my stories, you know I’ve been spending time with my elder friend, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Raylawni Branch (USAF), for a few years now. Most of our conversations center on me joining organizations she’s affiliated with. She keeps telling me that she wants me to serve on certain boards and committees after she’s gone. When she says this, I usually tell her she’ll live at least 20 more years. A couple of weeks ago, she invited me to join her for two luncheons, back to back. This time, instead of making excuses, I went to both. Afterward, I understood the assignment.
I understand the assignment, and this time I’m leaning into it (thanks, Wynne!) instead of running from it. It’s my time!🦋 (Note the “No. 301” in the title. A new beginning!)
