It’s In The Stillness

It’s in the stillness that we hear God’s voice the clearest. It’s hard to hear him when our mind is going 100 miles a minute. Stillness is where we find clarity and peace.

My previous message was a call for stillness—Be still! So, I guess you can say this one is the follow up message, or part two. Smile. Praying stillness allows you to clearly hear God’s voice.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

About this drawing. Saw my iPad and wanted to draw. Pushed it aside and said I would do it later—which probably would have never happened. That’s when I heard to draw now. To stop waiting for the perfect time to do the things I truly enjoy. Now, was and is the perfect time.☺️ It’s in the stillness…

Is It Worth It?

Before you send that text or email, or make that call or post, or act or react—

Stop…

Breathe…

and

Ask yourself

“Is it worth it?”

“What will I gain?”

“What will I lose?”

“Is it worth it?”

A moment of stillness can save you a lifetime of regrets—speaking from experience. Also, momentary satisfaction doesn’t always end well—experienced in this area as well. As the saying goes, the chickens will eventually come home to roost. Again…

Stop…

Breathe…

and

Ask yourself

“Is it worth it?”

“What will I gain?”

“What will I lose?”

“Is it worth it?”

Love you!♥️

Stop & Listen

When was the last time you were still long enough to hear God’s voice?

Facebook Memory: May 14, 2022

STOP
Listen
What do you hear?

Sometimes I find myself moving a mile a minute – busy with this, thinking about that, trying to figure things out on my own. Then, after I’m good and frustrated, I hear, “STOP. Listen.” Ha! That’s when I hear God’s voice.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy your day!♥️

Let God Do His Job

Happy Saturday!

Aren’t you tired of trying to do God’s job?

If you are not, I know I am. Laughing.

Listen, I am giving this job back to Him. He can have it. From now on—which is what I have been claiming to have been doing—I am being still and staying out of His way. No more interference from me. Not moving unless He instructs me to do so. His will be done. Period! I’m tired, but listening…and being obedient.

Facebook Memory: January 20, 2023

When God tells us to be still, He means, “Be Still!” This means to stop thinking about it. Leave it alone!

He’s shown me again and again that He works best when I stop interfering. When I stop trying to figure things out.

Allow Him to work.♥️

Take your hands off it until God says otherwise.

Love you!♥️
