Good Morning☀️

Woke up this morning singing Kirk Franklin’s “Conquerors”. Then, I came across these two messages in my Facebook memories.

Whew! This message is right here. This is exactly what God’s been telling me to do. I keep saying, “I’m listening, God; I hear you, God.” However, as we’ve all experienced (and I know I’m not alone in this), doing so becomes difficult at times when the facts seem overpowering. But I’m holding on. The crazy thing is God has never not taken care of me. He’s always been faithful. So why is it difficult to stay focused on His instructions?

I guess I’m beginning to sound like Joel because I ended last year with this exact message—I’m taking the limits off God and myself. Y’all, why do I want to say, “This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do. …” IYKYK😁

I needed both messages this morning. Thank You, God.♥️

I shared the statement above a few months after I became a full-time entrepreneur. God had my back then, and He still has it today—I needed the reminder I received earlier while in shopping (see “Often, Easier Said Than Done”).

This morning, I felt myself falling into the trap of just because I couldn’t see anything happening, nothing was happening. Y’all, I had done all I could in my power and had moved on. The last thing I expected was to receive that particular call and on a holiday. I guess that was God’s way of letting me know He still has my back. All I need to do is rest in Him, be still, and move when He instructs me to do so.

I’m listening, God.♥️

Often, Easier Said Than Done

Here’s what a shared on January 20, 2023:

In tears right now because I am experiencing a moment of God working in real time. While in the middle of writing this post—while in Walmart trying to buy things for the snow and freezing temps headed my way—thinking about “often, easier said than done,” I received a phone call from a client to schedule an appointment. Here I am trying to figure things out and God is already working things out.

The message—When God says He’s got you and to be still, He means He’s got you! Be still!! ♥️

Now, I’m in here crying… Let me hurry up and leave.
