Happy Monday!☀️ Not sure why I feel the need to mark this date (note the title), but it feels as if today is going to be a significant one.
This morning, I saw a short clip by A. R. Bernard, Sr. and decided to include one of his key points in today’s inspirational posts.

Where you are right now is where you need to be. God is preparing you for what’s ahead.
If you don’t feel this message, I certainly do. I can feel the change. I can feel a shift happening. I’m so grateful I was obedient this weekend and put my phone on Do Not Disturb. I needed that intimate time alone with God. No outside voices or thoughts. Just me and God.
The song of the hour is VaShawn Mitchell’s, “Turning Around for Me.” The song says—
It won’t always be like this. He will perfect that concerning me. And sooner or later it’ll turn in my favor. It’s turning around for me.
God is good. Despite what’s happening around us, we must continue to trust Him. We cannot lose hope.

Reassurance
Here’s a little reassurance for anyone who needs it. Listen, be patient. I know it’s easier said than done. However, if God said it, it will be. As I wrote three years ago, everything will happen in God’s appointed time—when He knows you are prepared to receive [it]—when you’re ready. I’m not just saying this because it sounds good and encouraging. I’m saying it because I know it to be true.♥️ ~Shaun

Nothing or no one can stop God’s amazing plan for your life. Please remember this—especially when everything seems to be falling apart or not happening in your favor. Know that God has not forgotten you. He’s forever working behind the scenes. Believe me, everything will happen when it’s time and better than you imagined. Trust Him… or, as Rev. Jesse Jackson would say, “Keep hope alive!” Y’all, he looked so good and well at the Democratic National Convention. When I tell you my heart is still overflowing this morning. Whew!
