I’m beginning my day with joy and gratitude as I do every morning. Over the years, I’ve learned that Joy Grows with Gratitude. The more grateful I am, the more joyous I am.

God, thank You for waking me up this morning. For the rhythm of my heartbeat. For the ability to see, hear, breathe, walk, and think. These are things I often overlook because they happen so naturally. But I want You to know they’re not things I take for granted. I’m grateful to be here. Amen

I Unplugged To Reconnect

Just responded to a daily prompt asking when do we know when it’s time to unplug. I thought it was a great question for someone (me☺️) just returning from being unplugged for a month.

Y’all, unplugging was truly one of the best decisions I’d ever made. I’m still not back on social media yet. Not sure when I’ll return to those spaces. I’ve enjoyed being in the physical presence of others. I’ve even started talking on the phone and using FaceTime more. I used to be a text girl. I could text all day! Never wanted to talk. Lol. But now, life is a bit different. I like this space I’m in.☺️
