Mid-Afternoon Worship

I guess my spirit feels like worshipping right now, so I’m going to let it do so. The song that’s been playing over and over in my mind for the past 30 minutes or so (that’s how I know there’s worshipping happening) is “Change Me” by Tamela Mann.

The song says—

Change me, oh God
Make me more like you
Change me, oh God
Wash me through and through
Create in me a clean heart
So that I may worship you

Y’all, God is working, from my spirit outwards. I feel it and I’m not ashamed to share it.

Forever grateful.

Forever blessed.

Be Obedient

Be obedient. You never know who needs what you have access to.

Yesterday, I texted a friend during Sunday morning service to let her know the message Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts was preaching was about her. I’ve never really spoken to her about anything spiritual before other than saying, “I’m praying for you”, “God’s got you!”; you know, that sort of thing, but nothing more. Well, yesterday I heard as clear as day, you need to send her this message. Even after texting her that morning, I was still second guessing if I should send the link that evening. I had imagined she’d forgotten that I said I would. However, I didn’t wait. I was obedient and sent her the link when it was first available.

A few minutes ago, I opened Facebook and this was the first post on my timeline…

“Shift The Weight” by Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts. Listen, this message blessed me too! When I tell you sometimes the weight can be soooo heavy. However, with God, I have to capacity to handle it. Take a listen!

When God tells you to do something, just do it. Again, you don’t know who needs what you have access to.♥️

Being A Mother

What are you most proud of in your life?

I am most proud of being a mother. Almost daily, I marvel at the fact that I actually have children—adult children. I never knew I could love and be loved so deeply. They are my biggest cheerleaders, my greatest supporters, my protectors, my encouragers, my friends (they still know I’m their mom). The relationship I have with them is the relationship I always longed for with my mother, and now I have it. I am truly blessed.🥰

Preparation

While patiently awaiting the next—whether it’s the next level of success, new opportunities and relationships, or a change in season—stay in preparation mode. As the saying goes, great things take time. Well, they also require preparation.

There’s always room for improvement.

A few posts ago, I asked what I could possibly be preparing for. Well, in God’s typical fashion (when dealing with me), He didn’t answer while I was so set on trying to figure things out. No, He waited until my thoughts were clearer, and I was open to receive the answer. And y’all, that’s when the answers started pouring in. When I tell you I love the way God loves me! He knows me so well. I know, He’s God so He should know me. Smile.

Listen, I am forever amazed by how much He sees and understands every detail of my being. Anyway, one of His messages came through a YouTube video by the late Jim Rohn—motivational speaker, author and entrepreneur. When I tell you it was exactly—down to every word of advice—what I needed! Whew!! Again, I just love the way God loves me.🥰
