It’s funny that this message was under today’s Facebook memories because I am starting late today. Honestly, I fell asleep before I scheduled today’s first post, and when I woke up, I didn’t feel like writing. Didn’t even feel like sharing last year’s memory. Nothing’s wrong, just tired. I need a vacation. A real vacation. A vacation where I won’t need a vacation from after my vacation. Lol
Anyhoo, here’s today’s Facebook memory.

Can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Yay!! Here’s today’s social media find. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is get started. You’ll be amazed by what happens when you just make the effort to begin. Believe me, you don’t have to have every detail figured out. Starting can be as simple as picking up a pen, getting out of bed, taking that first step, etc. WHATEVER you do, don’t remain stagnant. The worse feeling in the world is to look up 10 years from now and see you’re still in the same place, contemplating starting. Get started, TODAY!
Fun fact—Before I started blogging daily, I shared “social media finds.” I guess you could say they were the stepping stones that led to Shaun’s Daily Inspiration, which is a true testament that all you have to do is get started. Can’t wait to see where it leads me next!
Even if you can only muster up enough motivation to make one step forward, make that one step. God will do the rest. Have a wonderfully blessed day!♥️
You can’t find true happiness in things or people, and you surely cannot buy it. Believe me, I have tried before only to end up in the same state—feeling sad, depressed, unloved—after the excitement was over. No, true happiness is God-given and comes from within.♥️

True happiness comes from within. Wishing you much happiness and peace.♥️
Wishing you true happiness.
On another note, earlier this morning I watched Jay Shetty’s podcast with philanthropist, Melinda French Gates. It was a conversation I was already interested in hearing. However, I did not know it would end up being one I needed to hear. Yes, needed to hear. I can’t say it enough, I just love how God loves me. He always sends the right messages at the absolute right time. Always.
When we see or hear messages like the one above, we tend to believe our breakthrough is right around the corner. Well, sometimes that corner is very long, like years long. Just know that eventually your breakthrough will happen. Hold on as long as you can in your power. Then when you can’t hold on any longer, give it to God.
Honestly, I am not necessarily sure what I was waiting for besides my divorce, which happened two years later. I am pretty sure there was so much more by the exclamation marks and dancing emoji I used.
A lot has happened in seven years. I am so grateful for every breakthrough I experienced. They strengthened my relationship with God, and made me who I am today.
I pray that whatever breakthrough you are waiting for happens soon. If it doesn’t, just hold on. Believe me, it will happen.♥️
