The Leap

Good Morning ☀️

Today’s Facebook memory has me pretty emotional. It’s about taking leaps without knowing the details, without knowing what’s to come. All you have is God’s assurance that you won’t fall or fail. Everything else is unknown.

Here’s what I shared on Facebook five years ago (November 25, 2019), unsure who to give credit to for the illustrations.

I wrote—

“Trust God. No matter how outlandish it may seem, if He tells you to do something, do it. He knows what lies ahead. Trust Him.”

I needed this reminder today. I don’t need to see the entire staircase or where the next step will lead. All I need to do is be obedient and trust God, and the rest will unfold.🙏🏽

If there’s a leap you’ve been hesitant to take, perhaps this is your sign to take it. You won’t fail. Praying you have a great day and wonderful week.♥️

Obedience, That’s The Word

I know I write a lot about obedience, but y’all, our obedience to God is sooooo important—so very important.

Obedience gets you through the though times. Obedience brings blessings you weren’t expecting. Obedience keeps you protected. God knows and sees things you don’t. Listen, be obedient to whatever He asks of you. You may not understand what He’s asking, or feel the need to follow through, but do. Trust Him. He’s looking out for you!♥️

Message received…

I appreciate God showing me, me. There are certain things isolation has shown me about myself that I would have never realized before COVID-19.

Yes, I am still somewhat isolated. Most of my work and social interactions are virtual.

Then, there are things that I have only learned by being in the presence of others, particularly those outside my circle.

I needed today.

I hear you, God.

I’m listening, God.

I’m following through, God.

Obedience Matters

Good Morning!☀️

Yesterday, I wrote, “God has spoken. He has already advised you on what needs to be done, next. Now it’s up to you to respond accordingly.”

Well, a portion of that message was taken from a caption I had shared the year before (October 29, 2023). Let’s just say I created a better graphic and repurposed the caption. Smile. Although I made it a bit cuter, the message was still the same, and it was actually for me. Yep! That message was for me.

You see, a few weeks ago, I received very specific instructions from God about something I needed to do. I followed through, but only to a certain extent. What I failed to do was follow through with confidence. So, afterwards, I was easily persuaded to modify what I was told to fit someone else’s plan. Well, almost daily, I kept hearing I needed to be obedient and do what I was told.

Fast forward to yesterday—after coming across my Facebook memory about already hearing what God had said and needing to respond accordingly, I did just that. I did what I was originally advised to do, and when I did, the person responded that God had already given them that same message. Hmmm…

Listen, be obedient. You don’t have to know why you’re being asked to do something, just do it. Just be obedient.♥️

A Vessel of God

Good Morning!☀️

When you decide to commit yourself to God, you become His vessel. Meaning, you don’t always know how or when He will use you. All you know is that you were created and chosen for His divine purpose. Knowing this, must be enough. Trust Him. He’s got you, He loves you, and He will never leave you.
