God Is The Joy And The Strength Of My Life

Good Morning!

Facebook Memory: August 15, 2022

“I can hear James Cleveland’s choir singing:

‘God is the joy and the strength of my life. He removes all pain, misery and strife. He promised to keep me. Never to leave me. He’ll never ever fall short of His word… God is my all and all.’ Amen”

Yes, God is my all and all. Praying you have a blessed day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Tunnel Vision

As long as YOU and God know where you are headed, no one else’s opinion matters. They cannot see the vision God gave you. Block the noise and chatter—even your own thoughts that cannot fathom where you are going—and focus on God’s guidance. He knows where He is taking you.

It’s tunnel vision season. Trust God!

Stay focused on your God-given vision. You might look crazy today, but you won’t tomorrow. Love you!♥️

How Are You Reacting To Stress?

Found the quote below in my journal entry dated May 16, 2019. It’s definitely a much needed reminder that we may be surrounded by stressors; however, we do not have to be stressed.

In that entry, I mentioned that I had shared the quote the day before (May 15, 2019), but I do not remember seeing it under yesterday’s Facebook memories. Or… maybe it was there but wasn’t meant to be shared until today. Hmmm… Only God knows. Smile♥️

It’s not the things around you that causes stress but your thoughts about them that causes the stress.

Repeat after me—

“I refuse to be stressed. God has everything under control.”

Love you,

Shaun

Settling Is Easy

Settling for life as it is is much easier than putting in effort to change. Settling is what you eventually look back on thinking, “I should’ve,” “I could’ve,” or “I wish I would’ve.” But… you didn’t!

Facebook Memory: May 2, 2022

Settling is easy. Going after your dream takes time, patience, confidence and courage. Please don’t shortchange yourself because you’re too impatient or too discouraged to wait. You owe it to yourself to become and have everything you’ve ever dreamed.♥️

Yes, settling is easy. It’s easy because it gives you momentary satisfaction. It allows you to sit comfortably and cozy while life and time passes by. But, guess what? That desire for what you truly want, never leaves. Nope. It just lies dormant waiting for the craziest moment to reappear. You know, that moment when you have finally come to terms with this is my life. Then BAM! It’s back!

My advice, do not settle. Yes, the journey may be more difficult than you imagined. However, if there is a dream that continuously nags at you, keep pursuing it. Listen, rest if and when you must, then get back to it. I don’t know about you, but I would rather spend my life chasing my dreams than get to the end and wish that I would have kept trying.

That’s all for now. Wishing you a beautifully blessed day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Embrace Your Gift

When I went to share my previous post, a Facebook memory from 2022, on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, I decided to change it up a little bit. Here’s what I shared.

God has given you a beautiful gift that was meant to be shared with the world. Don’t keep it to yourself. Use it and SHINE!

Yesterday, on my way to the beach, I listened to Lewis Howes’ conversation with Tabitha Brown, You’ve Been Blocking Your Blessings! …. When I tell you that was another conversation that was God sent. So much of Tab’s story about dreams and hearing from God resonated with me. It was so nice to see that I am not alone. I know some of the things I post may sound a bit off, especially when I start talking about feeling shifts in the atmosphere and feeling the need to pray at specific times, but it’s so real. So very real. She also spoke about being obedient to God. How important it is to follow God’s guidance. How she tried doing it everyone else’s way, but it wasn’t until she started walking in her truth that she began to see her dreams being manifested. And her dreams didn’t even measure up to the blessings God actually bestowed upon her.

Listen, I needed that confirmation—which is something she also talked about. I needed to know that I am not crazy for doing what I know I have been led to do. This year, Year50, is the first time I have fully released control and have allowed God to guide and work how He sees fit. This time I actually meant it when I said, “whatever comes and whatever goes, I will be alright.” Y’all, I’m cool. I am so loving this space I am in. It’s a place of peace and surrender. It’s knowing that no matter what happens, God’s got me.

Right now, I am currently using my gifts and being obedient to God. It doesn’t matter if I reach one soul or millions, I am walking in my purpose and calling, and it feels wonderful! Y’all, I can’t say it enough, I am truly blessed.♥️

Valuable Beyond Measure

Facebook Memory: March 21, 2023

You add value to EVERYTHING you touch. NEVER minimize the value that YOU bring to the table.♥️

Believe me, you are more valuable than you know.♥️

Keep Climbing

You are so very close. Keep going!

Distractions will come.
Setbacks will happen.
Never stop climbing.

Rest when needed.
Crawl if you must.
But never stop climbing.

You are so close to your dreams. Keep climbing.♥️

Worthy of All Good Things

Repeat after me:

“I am worthy of ALL good things.”

Repeat as many times as needed, especially when doubt and negativity attempt to creep in and convince you otherwise. YOU, my friend, are worthy of ALL good things. Love you!♥️ ~Shaun

Put God First

Who can relate?

In difficult times, it seems easier to put God first. You know, that’s when we are deep in prayer so we are usually communicating with Him often. But, how about when times are good and everything is going well? Is He still first, or is He second, third, or even last to everything else?

A few years ago, I created a daily routine to ensure I put God first because I noticed when things were going well I did not spend as much time with Him as I did before. Now, don’t get me wrong I still said a quick prayer in the morning and acknowledged Him throughout my day; however, I stopped dedicating time to only Him. I would say I would get to it later, and sadly, later never came. Now, I intentionally set aside time. Y’all, so much is revealed during these times. It’s during these times that I actually feel closer to God. It’s when my faith is strengthened.

If you find yourself forgetting to prioritize God, maybe you should do as I did and create a plan where He is always first. Just a thought.

I am so grateful for my relationship with God.

Wishing you a wonderful day!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

God Is Still In Control

God is still in control. Trust Him to lead, even when you know think you can do things faster or better. Believe me you can’t. What I have learned from experience, and I am still learning, my interference never helps the situation. It just prolongs it. My advice (and you best believe this is a word for me too) step back, stand still, and watch God work.

Praying you have a wonderfully, blessed day. Love you!♥️ ~Shaun

I can hear Whitney Houston singing, “I Look To You.” Look to God. He holds the answers.
