Focus On The Promise

Good Morning! Here’s today’s Facebook memories.

Facebook Memory: July 30, 2021 (with TikTok’s assistance☺️)

Focus on the promise. I repeat– FOCUS ON THE PROMISE. Because focusing on the process will only weigh you down. Be Blessed 🙏🏽❤️

The video on Facebook was too blurry to screenshot so I went to the original source, TikTok. Which isn’t that much better.😂

Ha! The whole process of having to retrieve the screenshot is the perfect example of me focusing on the promise, not the process. Even creating that TikTok account was part of the process.

There’s a promise God’s given me, and no matter how daunting or tedious the process is at times, I am still focused on the promise. As you can see from the screenshot, my video didn’t get any likes and barely any views (143), but I kept posting anyway. And for those wondering, the promise isn’t to be seen or become “famous”, but to spread hope and love to every inch of the earth through everything I touch and do. That’s the promise I have been given. It will happen. Not necessarily directly through me, but through others. Y’all, we’re all connected. One day that harmony will happen. For those who don’t know, “I’d Like to Teach The World to Sing (in Perfect Harmony),” is the song that sparked it all. That and President Jimmy Carter. So, yeah, I am still focused on the promise, over 45 years later. I was just a baby when it all began.

Stay focused. Whatever dreams, visions , and promises God’s placed in you will happen. Maybe not the way you envision, but according to God’s plan (which is ultimately better than you’ve ever imagined — I truly believe this).

Well, that’s all for now. Praying you have a wonderfully, blessed day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

OAN: I haven’t posted much on TikTok lately because they started removing the music from my posts. Which is one of the reasons I created a YouTube channel.

What’s Your Vision?

Has God given you a vision bigger than you can presently imagine? If so, are you working towards it or are you waiting for the perfect moment to get moving?

Just saw this Facebook memory below and had to share. Y’all, I needed to see it at this moment in time because it’s confirmation of timing.

This is significant because I remember a video playing during the intermission of Tyler Perry’s last play where Tyler was describing his vision for Tylervision (a streaming service). Then, the streaming service, BETPlus, happened. He had a vision and made it happen. Maybe not exactly as he envisioned, but it happened.

Yesterday, I finally launched my newest (not so new, been in the works since 2021) venture. It’s my baby. Been holding on to it waiting for the perfect moment to make it public. It wasn’t until my most recent divine connection that I was encouraged to launch it. So yesterday, I stopped being afraid and did it. God gave me the vision decades ago and I am just now fully acting on it. It doesn’t look like what I envisioned, but it’s also no longer sitting waiting to happen. Nope. It’s happening now. I’m in it!

Good Night♥️

Trust The Process, Part 2

Meant to share yesterday’s message, “Watch God Work,” by Pastor Don Johnson, with you last night. When I tell you it was powerful!! The entire service was powerful.

First, it started with the announcement of Dr. Joel Tudman becoming the Assistant Senior Pastor at The Faith Center in Florida. He was previously an associate pastor at The Potter’s House, and now he’s off to fulfill his vision.

Listening to Bishop T. D. Jakes’ recount of the years of hard work, struggle, and sacrifice Dr. Tudman put in to get to his vision had me thinking about my own journey. It’s like God shows you the vision, but not the process. He doesn’t tell you that you have to put in a crazy amount of work to get to it. And y’all, the work isn’t easy. It isn’t just physically taxing but mentally and emotionally, as well. At least, for me it is. Anyway, it was the encouragement I needed to keep going. The process is only making me stronger. Eventually I will see my vision realized.

Here’s what I shared on X while watching Bishop Jakes pour into Dr. Tudman.

Trusting the process. I will see my vision come to fruition. (UN)

As I mentioned, the entire service was powerful. But I guess you could say, the message was the icing on the cake! I felt like God had brought Pastor Johnson in to personally pour into me. Whew!!

Here’s Pastor Johnson’s message, “Watch God Work” (if you know me, you know I love watching God work and baby I am a work in progress!):

One word—Chosen.

I believe this will be my second post for today. Nothing at 10:30 AM (CST). My routine has been off the last several days which has thrown my schedule off. I promise to get back on track soon. Asking for grace.🙏🏽☺️

Praying you have a blessed rest of the day. Be sure to do something nice for yourself to mark the first day of this beautifully blessed month. Love you!♥️

Tunnel Vision

As long as YOU and God know where you are headed, no one else’s opinion matters. They cannot see the vision God gave you. Block the noise and chatter—even your own thoughts that cannot fathom where you are going—and focus on God’s guidance. He knows where He is taking you.

It’s tunnel vision season. Trust God!

Stay focused on your God-given vision. You might look crazy today, but you won’t tomorrow. Love you!♥️

Focus On The Vision

Facebook Memory: November 27, 2022

I don’t care how many times you have to readjust your lenses, stay focused on your vision!♥️

The vision is plain. Just have to follow through.

Today is the first day of yet another term. This time around I am taking things—one day at a time, one assignment at a time, one course at a time, and one term at a time. It is the vision that is keeping me going. In due time, everything will fall into place.
