Settling Is Easy

Settling for life as it is is much easier than putting in effort to change. Settling is what you eventually look back on thinking, “I should’ve,” “I could’ve,” or “I wish I would’ve.” But… you didn’t!

Facebook Memory: May 2, 2022

Settling is easy. Going after your dream takes time, patience, confidence and courage. Please don’t shortchange yourself because you’re too impatient or too discouraged to wait. You owe it to yourself to become and have everything you’ve ever dreamed.♥️

Yes, settling is easy. It’s easy because it gives you momentary satisfaction. It allows you to sit comfortably and cozy while life and time passes by. But, guess what? That desire for what you truly want, never leaves. Nope. It just lies dormant waiting for the craziest moment to reappear. You know, that moment when you have finally come to terms with this is my life. Then BAM! It’s back!

My advice, do not settle. Yes, the journey may be more difficult than you imagined. However, if there is a dream that continuously nags at you, keep pursuing it. Listen, rest if and when you must, then get back to it. I don’t know about you, but I would rather spend my life chasing my dreams than get to the end and wish that I would have kept trying.

That’s all for now. Wishing you a beautifully blessed day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Never Give Up On Your Goals or Dreams

Never give up on your goals or dreams. They may not happen when or the way you envisioned them to, but they will happen.

This has been my prayer, lately:

Lord, please let me be able to recognize and receive what I dreamed. Please let my ego and stubbornness die so that I can enjoy every blessing You have for me. More of You, less of me.

I know my purpose is too great for me to keep getting in my own way. Yes, sometimes I get in the way of my own blessings, dreams, and goals. Not anymore. It’s time for me to see my goals and dreams fulfilled. There’s so much for me to do!♥️

More of God, less of me…

Trust God

My mantra for the month of April was “Trust God.”

That’s it!

That’s the message.

Praying you had a wonderful day, and wishing you a peaceful evening.

Mellow Moments

Just dropping in to say “Hello!” I have scrolled through my Facebook memories several times and I am not really feeling what I shared on this day; so, there won’t be a Facebook memory for my first post. Maybe for my second post. I also read through a few journal entries from today, and still nothing. I have to feel somewhat connected to what I share, and today nothing stands out.

By the way, nothing is wrong. I’m not sad or depressed. Just don’t feel like being on “10” this morning. Today is more like a “5,” pretty mellow. I am allowed a moment like this, right? Laughing

Think I will turn over and go back to sleep for a few more minutes.

Wishing you a beautiful day!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Unexpected Blessings

Expect great things to unexpectedly come your way. Things you will not have to ask for. Things that God feels like blessing you with just because He loves you. Expect them.♥️ ~Shaun

It’s All About Timing

Here’s a memory from five years ago—

Facebook Memory: April 28, 2019

Happy Sunday! Here’s today’s social media find. Remember, you have been planted, not buried. You may not be where you thought you’d be by now, and things may not be going as planned. It’s okay. Don’t give up on your dreams, or settle where you are. Your time is coming. You WILL bloom!

Not sure who to give photo credit to. (Social Media, 2019)

As SpongeBob SquarePants would say—

FIVE YEARS LATER…

Yes, it’s been five years and I am still saying the same thing, “Your time is coming.” Also, when I made the original post, I added the hashtags “BePatient,” “GodIsWorking,” “TrustGodsTiming,” and “YourTimeIsComing.”

I know you may feel like the journey has already been much too long. Yeah, I feel it too. However, instead of focusing on the length of time it is taking, think about all of the knowledge and experience you have gained over the years. Think about God’s protection from things that may have destroyed you. Think about all of the beautiful connections you have made, and the ones you had to release. And don’t forget the healing and growth that has taken place. When I tell you your purpose is too great for anything to happen prematurely. Believe me, you are going to bloom…when it’s time. Not a moment too soon or too late, but when it’s your time. Until then, enjoy life and all of God’s blessings and lessons along the way. Love you!♥️

Hello Sunday

Wise words from last year… and I wrote them. Smile

Facebook Memory: April 28, 2022

Set yourself free! Release past hurts, guilt, disappointments and shame. Harboring even the smallest resentment can make it difficult to receive and enjoy blessings. Release opens doors for receiving love, joy, opportunities, and success. Let go and be free!

It’s true, if you want your life to change for the better, you have to let things go. Holding on to past hurts, grudges, disappointments, and even shame, only hurts you. It also stops you from fully growing and receiving all of God’s wonderful blessings. Listen, I don’t know about you, but I don’t only want some of my blessings. No… l want all of my blessings. Every last single one. Smile. Let it go!

On another note— My daughter came home yesterday for her friends’ wedding and is leaving this afternoon. So, I am going to spend as much time as I can loving on her before she leaves. Smiling

Praying you have a wonderful Sunday!♥️

Love you,

Shaun
