“Conquerors” by Kirk Franklin is the song that’s currently playing in my head. Y’all, we are conquerors! God did not create us to live defeated.
The song says—
“We ran the race. We kept the fight. We shed our blood for what was right. We carried our cross through storm and rain. Because of Christ now we can say—We are conquerors, conquerors.”
Listen, hold your head up and keep pushing forward. YOU are a conqueror!♥️
In high school, two teachers told me I could be and achieve anything I imagined—my English teacher, Ms. Tressin, and my Spanish teacher, Ms. Dreher. They both knew my dreams and aspirations and fed them. I am so grateful God placed them in my life.
Here’s a card and a quote from Ms. Tressin that was given to me over 30 years ago.
The Tennyson poem and painting she’s referring to is “The Lady of Shalott.” Our “little” English class was a Literature class. I used to enjoy reading different styles of literature. I loved that class. This is the outside of the card, which has the painting of “The Lady of Shalott.”
And the added quote (I was the only student who received one☺️)—
“If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.”
This is why I still believe.🥰
This is all I have at the moment. I pray you have a fabulous Sunday!♥️
