Timing and Purpose

Today, in the United States, we are celebrating the life and legacy of the late, great civil rights activist, leader, and minister, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. When I think of Dr. King, I think of timing and purpose. He was placed in the right place at the right time to fulfill a purpose that only he could fulfill.

Let that soak in…

Dr. King was placed in the right place at the right time to fulfill a purpose that only HE could fulfill. Talk about the true definition of one of one.

Y’all, God is so strategic about His purpose and plan. Everything that happens is designed to perfectly align with God’s purpose and plan; and our role in it all is so strategic. Listen, we matter. Yes…we matter! YOU matter! We are not just here to take up space. No…WE are here to fulfill a specific purpose during this time.

Please hear me! WE are alive during this particular time to fulfill a purpose that only we can fulfill. WE are the Dr. Kings of our time.♥️

We do not have to see the entire picture before we start. All we have to do is take the first step and God will guide us through the rest.

Love you,

Shaun

Destined For Greatness

Since it’s after midnight and I am wide awake I thought I would go ahead and post my first blog for today.

Facebook Memory: January 15, 2022

Great things take time. Be patient with yourself and trust the process. Your time is coming.

Note: Always remember that your greatness is defined by you [and God] not by others.

Your purpose is too great and too important to give up on. Trust the process. God’s got you!

Wishing you a peaceful night and a wonderful week. Stay safe. Stay warm (it’s cold, y’all). And be blessed. Love you!♥️

Life: Trust God’s Process

Life is so wonderfully unpredictable. You set out with one thought or goal in mind and end up somewhere completely different. Different is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just different.

No matter where you are in this particular moment in life, know that it is temporary. Sadly, the highs don’t last forever, but thankfully the lows do not either. Y’all, God is so merciful. We must remember life is full of necessary ebbs and flows. They are all part of a greater purpose and plan. Although we may question where life is taking us, it is so important for us to trust God and trust His process. He really does have our best interest at heart. Everything will work out in our favor.♥️ ~Shaun

Progress Is Progress—Period!

I shared the following two years ago.

Facebook Memory: January 7, 2022

Progress IS progress. Whether it’s one step or leaps closer to achieving your goals or dreams, always acknowledge your progression. It really is a big deal!

Note: Your progress does not have to be visible to others. So stop worrying about who notices. You may not be where you want to be, but you’re moving.😌

Much too often we look at what others are doing or their success, and forget to acknowledge our own progression. I’m so thankful I’m not where I use to be 5 or 10 years ago, even a month ago. Ain’t God good!

No matter how far off things may seem, every day you become a little closer to your dreams. Keep going!

Love you!♥️

How It Started

One of today’s Facebook memories was a reminder of when I first started creating and sharing inspirational content (2018). I updated the video to include graphics from 2023 and the one I shared earlier today, which included my first drawing for the year.

Much too often we forget to celebrate our small successes along the way because we’re so anxious for the BIG win. Well, today I’m celebrating mine. Over the years, I have watched my inspirations evolve. They are no where near what I would like for them to be, and have yet to reach millions (yeah.. thinking globally), however, I’m still making progress. I see the growth. #Grateful #Progress

2018–2024

I am so proud of myself for continuing doing what I love. I am not sure where all of this is going but I do know it’s part of my purpose and calling. Can’t wait to see where Shaun’s Daily Inspiration will be 2-3 years from now.♥️
