At this present moment in time, I already have everything I need. Whatever I need for next, God will provide that too. I’m not guessing or hoping He will. I know He will.

Not sure who wrote the message on the image above. I shared it on this day last year, and thought it would be good to share it again.

Message: Ask for what you want. As I have often heard, the answer will either be— “Yes,” “No,” or “Not now.”

What I have learned is all of the answers have a purpose. “Yes” means it will happen. “No” means God has something better planned. We may not understand or accept the “No,” but it’s often for our protection—physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually. “Not now” usually means God is still working on a few things, and sometimes that thing is us. Smile. Remember, delayed is not denied.

So go ahead and ask. Then, learn to be content with the answer if it’s not what you want to hear. Believe me, it only means God has a bigger and better plan.♥️

Do You Believe?

Belief is more than a thought. It has action behind it. As I asked last year (was really asking myself this question)—Do you believe what you are believing for?

Not A Coincidence

Just had to stop and share this!! THIS is how God works in my life. Listen, a change is coming. Change is happening even when we can’t see it. But this one, I feel. I feel it so deeply within. And it’s not a bad change. It’s a good one.

So, not even 10 minutes ago I read a post by fellow blogger, Caramel—“I’ve Been Running Ever Since.” Then, immediately afterwards, I saw a post by Trent Shelton (like it hadn’t even been posted a minute) and he had added the exact same song Caramel mentioned in her post, Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come.” I don’t know if it’s the song of the day or what. However, I do know a change is happening. It’s happening NOW!♥️

From Believing to Knowing

Here’s a much needed reminder that God will give you beauty for your ashes.🌹

God is restoring and replacing all that was lost plus more.

You have been through a lot. More than anyone knows. More than you’ll ever share. Exhale and rejoice! God is giving you beauty for your ashes.♥️

On a personal note. When I wrote this two years ago, I was trying so hard to believe what I was hearing—“God will give you beauty for your ashes.” Even though I wrote it down and shared it, deep down I didn’t completely believe it. Just being honest. I didn’t believe it because I was too distracted with trying to figure out the how and when instead of leaving things in God’s hands. Again, being honest. Y’all, I am not even sure what changed or when it changed. All I know is one day I went from trying to convince myself to believe it could happen to actually knowing it was happening. I knew without a doubt God was restoring and replacing my ashes with beauty. I will say this, it started on the inside, first.
