Our “Yes”

Good Morning!☀️

Just saw this quote by Pastor Mike Todd on Instagram— “God saw all of this before you said yes.”

Y’all, this quote hit my soul! I instantly thought about the yeses I’ve given God over the years and how where I am currently—physically, mentally, spiritually, etc.—is where God saw me before I even said “Yes.” He already knew what my “yes” would cost me. He already knew what my “yes” would bring me. He already knows where my “yes” is taking me.

If you didn’t know, your “yes” is just as powerful as, if not more powerful than, taking a leap of faith.

Our leaps of faith are usually dramatic—something others can see or follow. However, our yeses are very subtle and intimate. They are given with our hearts, and only God hears them. Sometimes, we say yes before we have a clear vision of what’s asked. The good part is, whenever we say “Yes” to God, we can rest assured that He will always be with us throughout our journey—He’s got us! And He will never ask us for more than He knows we are capable of achieving. If He asks, He already knows we can do it. (Let that sink in.)

Question—What have you said “yes” to lately?

Well, this is all I have for you at the moment. It’s raining, and I slept in. I’m really thinking about turning over and going back to sleep. Smile. I pray you have a fabulous day!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Leap, You Won’t Regret It

Good Morning! For the past few years, I’ve been sharing the same message on September 16th—Take the leap!

This past weekend we celebrated one of my sister-friends’ big leap. It was a leap she had been toying with for years, and Friday she did it! We’re so proud of her. It’s her time to shine!

Here’s what I shared last year.

Facebook Memory: September 16, 2023

“How badly do you want it?! Listen, take that leap and go after it! Remember, you only have ONE life.”

In 2021, I wrote, “Take the leap. Then, keep leaping.”

Listen, taking major leaps takes courage. Not only do you have to deal with fear, but you have to be mentally prepared. From my experience, the decision to leap usually happens when what you want—the “how badly do you want it?”—outweighs your fear. It’s in that moment that you ask yourself “What do I have to lose?”, and you leap. I’m not going to lie, it’s an amazing feeling, almost euphoric. As I told my friend, bask in that feeling. Give yourself time to soak it all in. Then, give yourself grace and time to adjust. Because, believe me, when reality sets in, it sets in! That’s when you exhale and allow life to flow.

Thinking back to all the major leaps I’ve taken in life, I have yet to regret one. Every last one was necessary. I wouldn’t be where I am or who I am today had I not leaped. Y’all, God is so good.

That’s it for now. I pray you have a wonderful day and week. May they be filled with love, peace, joy and blessings.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Facebook Memory: Take the Leap

Smiling! Still can’t believe I did it!!

When I wrote this post, never in a million years did I think I would leave my job. I was pretty comfortable where I was. Back then, my idea of leaping was creating a better consulting business for me to do on the side. Never did I think this would become my primary source of income. I am soooo happy I took the leap. Like I said, I’m smiling. God is good!

It’s Monday! Here’s #TodaysSocialMediaFind. Where do you want to be? Are you actively moving towards it, or sitting and waiting for something to happen? I hate to break it to you, if you’re just thinking about it, it’s not going to happen. You have to get up, get moving and take a leap. Then you have to continue leaping- one leap after another.

So you know, I’m speaking to myself just as much as I’m speaking to you. I can’t afford to be stagnant. Gotta keep moving and leaping. Have a blessed week!

God Is Working
Keep Leaping
Then keep leaping!

I DID IT! And you can too. Have a blessed day!
