Surrender Your All

Wanted to share this message with you. It blessed me earlier today, and it is still on my mind after several hours. It’s about surrendering to God. Not surrendering in a few areas of your life, but in all areas. Here is what I wrote when I reshared Joy’s reel. By the way, Joy Bradford, is my cousin’s beautiful wife. She is a purpose coach and co-pastor (along with my cousin) of New Vision Fellowship Church in Brandon, MS.

My response/caption:

THIS word right here!!! I remember when I used to pick and choose which areas I wanted God to handle. The others, I just knew I could handle them best. Boy, was I wrong! Not sure how many times I had to bump my head before completely surrendering my ALL to God. Y’all, it was the BEST decision I made. Can’t believe I was so afraid to do so. Listen, when I tell you God’s got you, believe me, He’s got you! #BeyondBlessed ♥️

Honestly, it wasn’t until I began to completely trust God that I was able to surrender my all. It wasn’t until I said and truly meant, “Any way You bless me Lord, I will be satisfied.” And y’all, I mean this wholeheartedly. I know His plans are not always aligned with mine. However, I do know—which was why I was so hesitant to fully surrender—He’s not going to bless me with anything less than His best. I now know this, and I trust Him. Amen

That’s all. Just wanted to share. Hope it blesses you as much as it has blessed me. It’s another point in my life that I never imagined reaching.

Please enjoy the rest of your day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Tunnel Vision

As long as YOU and God know where you are headed, no one else’s opinion matters. They cannot see the vision God gave you. Block the noise and chatter—even your own thoughts that cannot fathom where you are going—and focus on God’s guidance. He knows where He is taking you.

It’s tunnel vision season. Trust God!

Stay focused on your God-given vision. You might look crazy today, but you won’t tomorrow. Love you!♥️

Messages On Repeat: Be Still and Wait

Last year, I shared these two messages/memories as a pair and have decided to do so again this year.

I don’t know about you but there are times when I become impatient and frustrated waiting on God. Just being honest. So, I end up ignoring His guidance and attempt to do things on my own. However, every time I’ve done so, it’s turned out to be a huge mistake. Moving on my own or prematurely has never resulted in what I thought it would. Honestly, it’s only caused delays in my progress.

Remember, God knows what He is doing and what lies ahead. If He advises us to be still and wait, we must do just that; no matter how uncomfortable it gets. I promise you—speaking from experiences of both not waiting and waiting—when it’s time to move, everything will work out in your favor and better than you imagined. So sit tight while God works. And, when He finally says move, you better move!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

You Are Blessed

Listen, this year, Year51, is all about experiencing God’s blessings in real time. From the moment I wake up until the time I fall asleep, I plan to acknowledge my blessings. Y’all, there are way too many blessings surrounding me for me not too. They are like God’s hugs and kisses reminding me that I am His child. Such a great space to be in.

Last year I celebrated all year long. This year I plan to do the same, by expressing my gratitude for my blessings. So, get ready! I am preparing you now. The words “blessed” and “blessings” will be used quite frequently. Smile

Before I end, I would like to invite you to join the celebration. Because if you did not know… You are blessed too!! Yes, YOU!! So, let’s celebrate!🎉

Love you!♥️

Shaun

Smile, this is Year51. Celebrate with me!

What’s In A Theme?

Here’s what I shared last year.

Facebook Memory: June 26, 2024

“Present and At Peace,” is my theme for #Year50. For years I have missed out on some great experiences because I was always anticipating the next. Not anymore! From here on out, I am staying present so I can fully enjoy my blessings.♥️

Peace like no other.

Until today, I had forgotten “Present and at peace” was my theme for Year50. Now, I look back and smile. Even though I had forgotten, God had not. All year long He made sure I didn’t miss a thing. While I was present, He was providing the peace. Y’all, God’s love is unmatched.

This year’s theme for Year51 is “Beyond Blessed.” I know that I am blessed, and I will not accept anything less than blessed, nor should you. Smile

Praying you have a wonderfully, blessed day!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Still Awake

I’m still awake. Trying to go to sleep but my spirit is singing…

“In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. We have the victory. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Satan you have to flee. Tell me who can stand before us when we call on that great name. Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus. We have the victory.”

Victory is mine. Victory is yours. We must remember who we are and Whose we are—God’s children. He’s got us!♥️
