Just woke up from a series of dreams. All three were different. Some people I knew. Some I didn’t. The main themes in all of them were manipulation for entrapment.

Y’all, please be careful out there. Everyone who is pretending to be for you, ain’t for you, and they will go to all ends to achieve detriment. All ends! Even faking being hurt. This isn’t only to destroy you physically but spiritually. They will also use others to finesse you to get it done. So it’s not just them alone. Others are helping.

Not writing this for anyone to be paranoid; however, be cautious. In the last dream, the one that jolted me out of my sleep, I was told the person was going to offer me something small and simple. So simple and small that it seemed harmless. Right before I woke up, someone was handing me something.

Can’t stress this enough—Stay covered!! And use discernment. If it doesn’t feel right, get out!

Know When To Move On

Sometimes we stay in spaces to save face. You know, we think the embarrassment of leaving is worse than the consequences of staying. Other times we stay out of fear, or because we believe we have already stayed too long and there’s nothing left to do or give. Whichever the case may be, when we know it’s time to move on, we need to move on. We cannot waste anymore time in spaces where we were never meant to stay. Let’s learn the lessons. Accept the blessings. Then move on. God has more in store for us. However, we will never receive them if we do not move.

Comfort blocks blessings.

Write Your Own Story

Remember to stay in control of the pen. Your life is your story, and you control the narrative. While you may not be able to control everything around you, you do have control over how you react or respond in different situations. This, in turn, lends to the outcome of your story. So, write your story, and make it good. Oh… and start over as many times as you please. Remember, it’s your story. Also, be sure to write the truth because lies will only limit the impact of wonderful experiences.❤️

Authentically Me

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Earlier today I shared a picture from a few days ago. I had taken it after my cousin’s 70th birthday party and right before I removed my makeup, which was already wearing off. I decided to share this particular photo—unedited, without posing, just looking directly in the camera—because I felt it was my most authentic. I was exhausted, but felt so blessed (hence the reason for the photo). This little girl is now a grown woman. A 50 year old woman who is here, aging, and not afraid to be. No longer afraid to share her authentic, most vulnerable self.

I’m sharing this because a very opinionated friend of mine posted a response that only they could and would. Shaking my head, laughing. Honestly, it was a response that would’ve made me feel awkward for sharing, and would have had me second guessing my decision. However, today, I’m free. As Fantasia sings, “This is me.” It’s me and I absolutely love me.

Here’s my post. Those who get it, get it. Those who don’t…not my problem. I’m living!

Only One Week Away

Hey Y’all! I am only one week away from one of the greatest dates of my life… MY BIRTHDAY!!!🎉🎉🎉

Almost 51! God is soooo amazing! Never, ever imagined being 50. I’m in awe. Grateful and blessed.🌺

Year51 is right around the corner. Smiling because this year, Year50, my Jubilee year, has probably been one of my most interesting years yet—spiritually. Never knew I needed the spiritual awakening I received. This awakening has been the driving force behind so many life changing experiences—mentally, emotionally, financially, physically, etc. Y’all, I am not sure what Year51, or this side of 50, holds; however, I do know this past year was preparation for the rest.
