The fact that Jesus conquered death gives me hope. Not even death can stop God’s greatness! Amen

I am so grateful and thankful for life. Thankful for another opportunity to get life right. Thankful for another chance to love and be loved. Thankful for my babies, family, and friends. Thankful that we are all still here and doing well.
My daughter is home so I plan on spending as much time as I can loving on her before she leaves. She got here yesterday and we have already had a few deep discussions, listened to Cowboy Carter, sung, danced, and laughed. Hadn’t realized how much I missed her. So blessed to have her home. God is good.
Y’all, because of Jesus, I am who I am today—undefeated and blessed. It’s a wonderful thing. Amen
Today is Resurrection Sunday, or Easter. All while growing up, and up until a few years ago, most people referred to today as Easter. Then, a few years ago, more people began to refer to it as Resurrection Sunday. Either way, today is the day we (all who believe) celebrate Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.
This morning I am singing, “Rise Again.” Found this version on YouTube and found it to be one of the best renditions of the song. It’s very soulful – Rise Again by Larnell Harris.
Happy Resurrection Sunday! Knowing that Jesus rose on the third day gives me hope. Hope that no matter how dark and dismal life becomes, or how long the pain lasts, there’s joy on the other side. Yes, joy is on the other side. Never give up hope.
