Happy New Year’s Eve

Good Morning!☀️

Usually, I have more to say at the end of the year than I do today. Last year I wasn’t feeling well on New Year’s Eve so being in good health is a plus. Here’s what I wrote in my journal moments before midnight.

December 31, 2023: Shaun’s Journal Entry

“I am planning to ease into 2024 with love, peace, joy and gratitude. I am thankful for all that I currently have while looking forward to the blessings 2024 will bring. Not going to allow what’s happening around me to get inside me.”

That’s how I entered 2024 and it pretty much remained the same throughout the year. I entered it with love, peace, joy and gratitude. I expected blessings to come my way, and they did. Also, I didn’t allow what was happening around me get inside me. Since it worked last year, I’m just going to carry it over into 2025.

On another note… I will have a 30 year old in less than a month! I know, I’m saying it like she’s almost 30 months instead of three decades. Laughing. Y’all, it’s crazy! Where did the time go? Honestly, where did it go? And now, what do I do? I guess that’s been the real question lately, what do I do now, personally? I know what to do professionally, but I’m completely lost on the personal side. Y’all, I’ve been a mother the majority of my adult life and before then I was taking care of my siblings—since age six. I’m for real, I have absolutely no idea how to be a regular, single adult. Crazy, huh?! Just thinking about it is mind blowing. Well, I guess I’ll add that to my list of things to figure out or navigate through in 2025. Yes, it’s time I set some personal goals. Feeling excited!

Before I end, I would like to thank God for bringing me and my family through this year unharmed and healthy. I’m not sure what 2025 holds, but I do know God will be with me every step of the way, AND I am going to be obedient and remain covered.

Well, this turned out to be a hodgepodge of ramblings. Smile.

Y’all, God is moving and I’m moving right along with Him. I refuse to be left behind.

That’s all I have and I’m going to publish it as written. I haven’t had a good ramble lately. I pray your year ends with love, peace, joy, and understanding. May it also bring you clarity for the year ahead.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

P.S. And I thought I didn’t have much to say.☺️

Stay Covered

Good Morning!☀️

I shared the same image (Stay Humble) for two years with the same caption— “2023/2024 is loading… Stay Humble.”

Well, this year I have decided to switch it up. This year’s caption will read—

2025 is loading…
Stay Covered.

Listen, 2025 is not the year to venture out without God covering your every move—from your words to your relationships to new endeavors. God knows and sees everything, including the thoughts, intentions, and hearts of others. So, please stay covered. Use your discernment. If it doesn’t feel right, it’s not right. Period. With that said, when God places an opportunity before you, and He says, “Take it, it’s yours,” don’t ask a million questions—take it!

I don’t know about you, but I can already tell that 2025 is going to be one eventful year—the roller coaster ride is loading. My plans are to follow the advice I gave above. I’m staying covered, using my discernment, seizing opportunities, and allowing God to lead.

Thank you for reading. I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Transformation

** Had this already scheduled to post before I found out President Carter passed. Was going to reschedule it but won’t. I pray that this message encourages someone to allow God to move in their lives. I love y’all!!♥️

We’re only days from 2025, and a change is already happening. I know you can feel it because I surely can!

It’s the feeling of God transforming you into who you were created to be. Don’t resist it. Instead, lean into it and allow Him to work.

Love you!♥️

Hello Sunday

Good Morning!☀️

Can you believe we’ve already reached the end of 2024?! This year flew by, but by the grace of God, we’re still here! Hallelujah, we are still here.🙏🏽

On December 29, 2021, I shared—

“Your next chapter will be AMAZING! Receive it. Speak it – “My next chapter will be AMAZING!” Own it!”

I’m smiling because I spoke it, received it, and now I’m owning it. I’m not sure when I stopped viewing my life as chapters in a book. Maybe it was during or after the COVID pandemic, or maybe it was last year, my Year 50. All I know is I haven’t thought about another chapter or looked forward to something AMAZING in years. I don’t have to because I’m already living in it. My life is already AMAZING—it just keeps getting better!

Y’all, I am absolutely loving this side of 50! Thank You, Lord, for making this side different and better than I ever imagined.

Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with viewing your life in the context of chapters. As you can see, I also did. However, I’ve reached a point where I try to find the AMAZING in everyday moments instead of waiting for it to miraculously show up in the future. Life is just too precious and short to keep waiting for something amazing to happen when it’s already happening now. Just look around and you’ll see it. Then, once you see it, receive it and own it. It’s yours!

That’s all I have for you now. Wishing you an AMAZING, relaxing Sunday.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

The Time Is Now!

That’s how I ended my journal entry on December 28, 2014—“The time is now!!”

I wrote—

“2015 is only days away, am I ready? This is a must, not a want!! Get moving Shaun. Let God be your guide. I know you feel lost but you got this. The time is now!!”

I just love reading past journal entries. I swear they were written for me today. Baby, if no one else was going to motivate me, I was definitely going to motivate myself.

Today, I’m only days from 2025—I can’t believe it’s been ten years! Unlike ten years ago, I no longer feel lost or unsure about being ready. Nope, not this time. This time, I’m ready, moving, and God is guiding my every step. This time, the time is now!!

Ain’t God alright?!

Beyond Blessed♥️

Quick Reminder

It’s Self-love Saturday!

Reminder:

You are enough. Yes, YOU! God knew who you would be at this very moment in time. Accept His grace and rest in the fact that you are enough as you are.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Jesus

Singing Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s, “Break Every Chain.” The song says—

“There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. To break every chain, break every chain, break every chain. To break every chain, break every chain, break every chain.”

Then, the song goes on to say—

“There’s an army rising up. There’s an army rising up. There’s an army rising up. To break every chain, break every chain, break every chain. To break every chain, break every chain, break every chain.”

If you didn’t know, or in case you’ve forgotten, there is power in the name of Jesus. Yes, in his name, and his name alone. And it’s breaking strongholds and chains. If you haven’t used it in a while. Use it!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Keep Smiling

Good Morning!☀️

For a few days now, “Smile, you are loved” has been the message. And you are loved, so smile. However, there are also other reasons to smile. For one, God has your back. You can always count on Him. Another is that He provided you with the Holy Spirit to be your personal guide, confidant, and intercessor, and He has placed angels around you for your protection. All reasons to smile. Also, if you are reading this, I believe it’s safe to say you’ve been blessed with the gift of sight.

I said all this to say there’s always a reason to smile. So smile.

Oh…and your smile might be the reason someone else smiles.

So, again, smile.🥰

I pray you have a wonderful day and beautiful weekend.♥️

Love you always,

Shaun
